 Drake Jackson goes on PUP and will not count against the 53 man roster. Expect a move to bring in a F/A defensive end. Not much out there but I'd look at Rasheem Green or Carl Lawson. Who do guys think it'll be?

Will Aiyuk Practice?

 

 Lynch was emphatic that he expects all their players to practice when asked if Aiyuk will be participating. The Niners have no intention of trading Aiyuk, Lynch noted that there are "no absolutes" in this process. However, Larry Krueger followed that up with a question about "absolutes" when it came to Bosa, which I thought was the best question of the lot. "I did say that with Bosa, and I felt that way. I think, again, no absolutes there. We fully intend on Brandon being a Niner moving forward". Shanahan also noted the importance of having CMC signed, which could've been taken like a slap in the face to Aiyuk if it weren't so clear that CMC is one of one. Lynch, “I always want to be optimistic. This has been a tough one…we’re going to continue to work towards finding resolution. Not optimistic, not pessimistic.” Sounds to me like the 49ers have their heels dug in on a number that they have no intention of moving from. How do you guys feel?

Greenlaw, Hufanga, Jackson all start out on PUP while the number one draft pick, Ricky Pearsall is dealing with a minor hamstring injury and will begin the year on NFI.
