  1. NFL training camp 2024: Jordan Love lands 4-year, $220M deal with Packers....($55 Mil P/Y
    * The deal also includes a record $75 million signing bonus and $155 million in new full guarantees, per sources, making Love the highest-paid NFL quarterback.5

    This is the new bench mark for a Purdy contract....And will Likely be , IMO, a contributing factor in the 9ers refusing to pay Aiyuk $30 Mil P/Y.

  2. Why Foerster believes ‘special' Puni can thrive in NFL
    * Chris Foerster has spent 26 seasons coaching NFL offensive lines, meaning he knows exactly what to look for when evaluating a young player's sustainability in the league.
    * One player who has earned Foerster's praises early in 49ers training camp? Rookie guard Dominick Puni, who San Francisco selected No. 86 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

  3. GEEP,
    There's very little doubt that Puni will become a starter. The only question is when? At some point this season or next year? Either way, I believe that he will hold down the position for 8-10 yrs barring any injury.

    1. The only way an OG plays 8-10 yrs for Shanahan is if his stock is depressed. We don't pay big money for OG's and S's. If Banks has a good year he'll be gone next year with Kingston likely his replacement.

    2. Heck, we don't know if Shanahan will be here in the next 8-10 years. It's all hypothetical musing.

    3. Yea, Shanahan is the HC as long as he wants to be. He's made the Yorks a ton of money and the crown jewel of the NFC.

    4. Exactly. In 8-10 yrs a variety of things could happen. Not many things are guaranteed in life.

    I would point out that the 36.2% for Jordan Love should reflect he started out the season with a lot of incompletions, but the second
    half of the season he was 2nd only to Purdy...
    ** Love's first 9 games: 58.7 COMP% and 80.5 passer rating.
    * Jordan Love last 8 games: 70.2 COMP%, 2150 Yards, 18 TDs, 1 INT 112.7 passer rating.
    Looking forward to the Purdy VS Love matchup on Nov 24th when
    the 9ers play GB.

    1. He was also running a high school offense the last 8 games.

  6. That is a bizarre stat. If I am reading it right Z. Wilson has a lower rate of incompletions than Purdy
