Gameday Week 10: Seahawks vs 49ers
Sounds as if Kittle is out for this game and Williams will likely play. Can Eric Saubert step up and fill some of that void? I think he ca...

The stench of the last game is still in my nostrils. Will the 49ers clear the air? Not if they don't start making tackles. Not if they...

And same results at end of game.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have cared if both QBs threw 5 ints in the SB as long as the 49ers had won. Stats are very good accomplishments. Winning Superbowl's are Historic!
Conversely, when you or the organization fall short of the goal, the letdown can be so severe you're blinded to substantive information indicating that success may be closer than you would imagine.
Delete"success may be closer than you would imagine." I certainly agree with that. But the 49ers have been on the cusp of a SB win in their last 3 appearances. They have not been in any SB losing blow-outs. I stand with Jeb York, "we don't raise division championship banners. We raise Superbowl banners." While I absolutely enjoy the ride throughout the season with the great 49ers teams under the Shanahan regime, I wont feel complete until the 49ers fulfill Jed York's standard.
DeleteBill Walsh quote from his book.
DeleteVery encouraging stat.... considering the OLine and everything that Spags threw at him.
ReplyDeleteIf nothing else, last season made it clear to me that Purdy is better than Jimmy and he can lead 4Q comebacks.
Should be another great season for him.
Highest missed tackles/touch since 2006 per PFF, min 100 touches

Is there actually anyone out there who thinks Jimmy G is a better QB in any way, than BP?
ReplyDeleteIf they do have mercy on their soul.
DeleteOnce again Z. Wilson ranks well. What makes him such a horrible QB?
ReplyDeleteImmaturity.
