    1. He's the kind of edge they like in Round 1 and very likely still on the board.

  3. Per, 49ersWebzone,
    Matt Miller,
Has the 49ers taking Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren in the first round.

The truth will be revealed tonight.

    1. Good player but he seems to replicate Mustapha. Does he say that we are planning to trade him?

  4. No, there's no mention of trading. Only that he sees's EMW making the kind of impact that the Seahawks Emmanwori has made.

  5. Chiefs DBs coach Dave Merritt, one of the best in the NFL, was arrested Wednesday night and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

    1. If the coach gets arrested, how can they expect the players to be accountable?

This team will most likely draft Reuben Bain Jr, to stay true to character. SMH.

  6. Florio reports the Jags, with no pick in the first, are trying to get into the bottom of 1 through a trade that might include Brian Thomas Jr.

  7. Unfortunately, I ran out of time, so there won't be a mock draft from me this year. However, I do have the 49ers taking edge R Mason Thomas with the 27th pick. Then I have the team drafting safety Bud Clark during the second round. I am also predicting the 49ers will draft RB Emmett Johnson with one of their fourth round picks.
This is one of the toughest drafts to mock in a while. I don't see any trade value during it, and I think an argument can be made that the talent from the middle of the first round to the end of the fourth round is near even. I'm expecting several first round busts and late round gems to come out of this draft.

    1. I really like Clark but I am hoping he will be there in the 4th round or if they can add a 3rd round pick he will be there

    2. He could be OldCoach. There are many prospects from this year who would get drafted lower in other drafts.

  8. Mid,
The 49ers seem to have more success with later draft picks. Maybe, they produce 3 hits on D3.

    1. Emmett Johnson would definitely be a hit.

  9. Didn't have time to do a mock draft. Seems like WR is gonna be the 1st rd pick.

My money is on KC or Boston. Wouldn't be surprised if we got Malachi Lawrence instead.

    1. I think both will be gone before pick 27.

    2. There's no way in hell 6 wrs go before pick 27. There will be a run on OL starting late teens and will push somebody down.

  10. Mug,
I'd be good with any of those players. All three have had very good production that could carry over in NFL.

  11. Am I the only one concerned with Concepcion's drop rate? Fumbles and dropped passes are the quickest way to get into KS's doghouse.

    1. It's a concern but as you consider his overall game it's not a disqualifier to me.

    2. The bigger but related concern is he sometimes seems to struggle making catches in traffic.

    3. I think Concepcion's skillset pairs extremely well with Purdy.

  12. I’ve got my money on the Niners taking Malachi Lawrence.

    1. I thought Lawrence could end up being one of the best from this class but that was when he was in the late round 2 conversation. His meteoric rise into the 20's has me dubious.

    2. I like him, but only in the second round.

  13. Boston is a hard guy to get a read on. At the NFL level, will he be Jennings 2.0 or Anquan Boldin 2.0?

    1. Did you see his 3-Cone and then watch his film. He's very fluid for his size so he's neither JJ or AB.

    2. I don't follow the college game much these days and don't watch much film. Comment was based on a few highlights, impressions from others, and fit as a possession WR.

    3. Boston's 3-cone was 6.80. That's elite for a smaller wr let alone one of Boston's size.

    4. How would he fit year 1 with Evans? Which WRs are on the field on 1st down?

      Delete
    5. When he isn't spelling Evans outside, big slot is where he'd likely get most of his work. He's a redzone machine too.

  14. Adam Peters just got sniped by Andy Reid.

  15. I wonder what a trade for Kayvon Thibodeaux would cost right now...?

    1. What's he worth to you? I haven't watched much Giants ball but he never caught my eye.

    2. Probably at least a second round pick.

    3. If it's more than a 4th, put the phone back down.

    4. No argument from me Scooter, but I'd be surprised if the Giants took less than a second round pick.

    5. Yeah, no idea Mid. He is in his last year though, and they are now flush with OLB/ Edge guys.

  16. Looks like the run on OTs has begun.
