Bo Nix since 2025 (QB Rank)...
The Broncos are a second half team. This may be a tail of two halves for Shanahan. Get out to an early lead in the first half and then grind it out on the ground in the second half. Fred Warner is 3-0 on coin tosses. Can he do it again?
The 49ers will improve to 4-0 after beating the Broncos 24-13
Predictions:
Purdy: 290 yards passing, TD
CMC: 145 total yards, TD
Deebo: 60 all-purpose yards
Cooks: 50 yards receiving
Kittle: 70 yards receiving, TD
Evans: 65 yards receiving
Defense: 1 sack (Halton), 1 INT (Stout)
Niners inactives vs. Broncos:
QB Kurtis Rourke (3rd QB)
OT Enrique Cruz Jr.
CB Ephesians Prysock
LB Tatum Bethune
DE Nick Bosa (calf)
DT James Thompson Jr. (ankle)
RB Jordan James

I need Deebo staying after practice on the jugs machine, as he's leading the league in drop rate at 18.2%. *Minimum 7 targets
ReplyDeleteCould be the reason he had 0 targets last week.
DeleteMcVay has had no answers for Fangio so far.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Fangio isn’t McVays only problem. It appears they are headed to a 1-3 start to the season. Who would have thought?
ReplyDeleteWell I guess I spoke too soon.
ReplyDeleteBetter think again...dog gone it Eagles, historically bad when it counts
ReplyDeleteCowing has been given a decent amount of opportunities this season, but I have yet to see him capitalize on any of them.
ReplyDeleteOn that throw to him they weren’t on the same page. I wonder if Cowing was supposed to turn to the side instead of the middle.
DeleteThe defense needs to do a better job of getting off the field.
ReplyDeleteWhat was that fourth-down call, Shanahan?!
ReplyDeleteThe call was fine. The execution was not.
DeleteEven I knew that sneak wasnt going to work.
ReplyDeleteOk, defense let's get off the field.
ReplyDeleteThe Broncos keep getting penalized, and the 49ers keep apologizing for that by allowing them to get first down after first down.
ReplyDelete49ers came out a little flat. They need to wake up on both sides of the ball.
ReplyDeleteHeck, the Eagles should have won the game against the freak'n Rams. Their defense layed down in the 4th QTR.
Deebo is having a good start to the season.
ReplyDeleteThe weak part of Denver’s defense is the run game and the Niners offense are taking advantage..
ReplyDeleteI think Evans would have caught that if healthy.
ReplyDeleteSecondary has been fantastic in the 1st half. Morris is putting a lot on them, consistently rushing extra men, but they are holding up brilliantly.
ReplyDeleteWhere's the flag ref?
ReplyDeleteWild guess re Surtain: Achilles?
ReplyDeleteThat'd be my guess as well.
DeleteYou never want to see a player go down with a non-contact injury, even if they're your team's opponent.
Unsurprisingly, Purdy doesn't look as good when none of his receivers can get open against tight man coverage.
ReplyDeleteGood thing Evans has been able to tough it out, as he's the only one able to fight through it to give Purdy a target.
Things might loosen up a little with Surtain out though. Kittle might become more of a factor.
I think he's done a decent job given what the Broncos have been throwing at him.
DeleteThat wasn't a dig at Purdy.
DeleteSorry, I didn't mean to indicate that it was. I just meant that he's done a decent job against a tough pass rush that hasn't given him much.
DeleteAgreed. He's had nowhere to go, but done well to extend plays and avoid negative plays.
DeletePurdy has done a decent job against the fifth-best pass rush in the league.
ReplyDeleteThe refs keep allowing early contact from the Broncos secondary.
ReplyDeleteYes. That should have been called imo.
DeleteThe defense has been horrendous on third down this season.
ReplyDeleteGet a TD 49ers.
ReplyDeleteDid the 49ers score a TD? My app crashed right after the CMC run.
ReplyDeleteEverything is coming hard today.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a very good defense they are up against.
DeleteWish we had a pass rush.
ReplyDeleteHopefully not too serious for Juice there. Looked like the knee hyper extended.
ReplyDeletePurdy's numbers won't be great from today, but he's shown why he's a leading MVP candidate.
ReplyDeleteYep, had a few plays he'd like back, but for the most part he's continued to look very good against a very tough defense.
DeleteHow is Kittle still so fast so soon after an Achilles? Incredible.
ReplyDeleteI just heard on the radio that Sigle is down.
ReplyDeleteAnd Razor predicted 24-13. How about that?
DeleteThat's a good, hard fought victory.
ReplyDeleteRest prediction Razor
ReplyDeleteGreat not rest
DeleteDefeated Denver! 4W - 0L and first place in the NFC West.
ReplyDeleteBeat Seattle next and it's all good!
Yup. Let's go!
