Defensively ever since Warner went down for the season with an ankle injury the 49ers defense ranks 30th in success rate, 28th in points per drive and 27th in EPA per drive. Saleh needs to coach 'em up and scheme 'em up. Arizona’s Jacoby Brissett has been under pressure at the highest rate of any QB this season (47.8%), and hopefully they can take advantage of that and perhaps build off any success they have today moving forward. I got the 49ers winning this game 30-17.
The 49ers INACTIVES for today’s game against the Cardinals:
Jordan Watkins
Clelin Ferrell
Jordan James
Connor Colby
Kevin Givens
Eli Apple

I think we will win too.
ReplyDeleteIn the immortal words of the modern day philosopher and dancer Kendrick Bourne, I hope we "Stop smelling our own Junk" and put the Cardinals away early. Lets make the Cardinals tear it all down and rebuild again! :)
Go Niners 28-14!
Nick Martin taking 1st team warmups at Sam!👀
ReplyDeleteNot a terrible way to start a game...
ReplyDeleteWe are off to a good start.
ReplyDeleteVikings and Falcons....not so much. SMH!

Nice to see him back.
ReplyDeleteOther than the blocked extra point, a nice start. 9ers 13 Ariz 0
ReplyDeleteA Sky Moore 98 yard kickoff returned to the one. A TD for CMC and then a second TD for Kittle....
In the words of Lee Corso, "not so fast, my friend." If not for the big KO return, the would be losing 7 to 6. 49ers defense needs to get it going.

DeleteWith 2:00 minutes to go and leading 41 to 22, I think we're safe with a win? lol
I love a blow out win once in a while.
ReplyDeleteNice and relaxing.
DeleteGreat win. Purdy, CMC, and Kittle were in their element. What I'd like to see improved.
ReplyDeleteDefensive Tackling - subpar.
Green- must learn to control his temper.
Awesome to see Brock back on the field. But whether healthy or not he needs to stop forcing the pass to his receivers.
But, a win is a win. And given the injury situation on the team - 7-4 looks darn good and one win better than last season.
Anyone hear how bad Pineiro's hamstring is?
ReplyDeleteOn Pineiro, per Shanahan.
Delete"No, I mean, we think he pulled it, but not sure, we'll have to check tomorrow," Shanahan said.
👍
DeleteGreat win.... 17 penalties and 3 turnovers by the Cardinals would be the kind of game that gets a HC fired.
ReplyDeleteI loved our discipline on penalties, but didn't love the missed tackles from Winters nor the emotional penalty from Green. Robinson was much cleaner at LB and Sam O was relentless with effort. D is getting better every game and got solid contributions from West and Martin.
Purdy was lucky a couple of times and his decision making by holding on to the ball put him in harm's way, but it was a great return from BP. Offense looks explosive with all the usual suspects. We should make the playoffs.
Monday night's game against Panthers might be for a playoff spot.
Just watched the game. Cards can't get out of their own way. Purdy looked like Purdy. He showed no signs of rust. Finally, not a nail bitter kind of nice to sit back and watch the game.
