He is a small step above a camp body. Maybe a PS body
ReplyDeleteWell, at least we know that he comes from a Lions smack-down type Defense.

#49ers are signing WR Robbie Chosen (previously known as Robbie Anderson), per his agent, @davidcanter. Chosen played in nine games last season for the Dolphins and Mike McDaniel, which means he's familiar with the offense the 49ers run.
Interesting. Can't help but wonder what was the reason behind this signing.
ReplyDeleteWhich one? The Chosen one or Walker or maybe both.
DeleteBoth, lol.
ReplyDelete"Ochocinco" is the best so far. At least Chad Johnson backed it up.
DeleteThat he did.
DeleteThe 49ers have placed Drake Jackson on reserve/PUP and he is now out for the season, per
ReplyDelete@FieldYates
49ers looking to trade a 25 draft pick for a WR. They can then use the pick they receive for BA to replace that pick.
ReplyDeleteChosen has changed his name 3 different times once from Robby to Robbie then again to Chosen Anderson and a third time to Robbie Chosen. I vote for a 4th time to Jerry Rice, who knows what effect it would have on his game......
ReplyDeleteThe #49ers signed DE Jonathan Garvin to a one-year deal, per
ReplyDelete@TomPelissero
Garvin was a 7th-Round Draft Pick by the #Packers in 2020
Garvin has a Career total of 33 Pressures
(2 SK, 6 Hits, 25 Hurries)
17 Tackles
13 Assisted
10 Stops
SO WHAT IS UP WITH AIYUK TURNING DOWN $32 MILLION?
ReplyDelete* NFL insider reveals why Brandon Aiyuk turned down trade to Patriots.
https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl-insider-reveals-why-brandon-164402660.html
* "(The Patriots) essentially had a contract in place for Aiyuk giving him around $32 million a year, and with trade compensation that the San Francisco 49ers were OK with," Russini said.
"But Aiyuk did not want to go play for New England is what I was told. He does not believe the quarterback position is at the level that he wants it to be at right now, and he wants to be on a team that he believes can make a run in the playoffs. He doesn't see New England as being that type of team."
* ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, IT'S TIME TO FISH OR CUT BAIT: IMO, the 9ers should offer Aiyuk $27 Mil. and tell him if he refuses
to sign a long term extension, they'll take the best offer they get. And that includes the NE offer if that is the best offer they receive for him.
The teams interested in BA will only trade for him if he will agree to signing an extension with them. If the 9ers traded him as a 1 year rental they would get back a 5th round draft pick at best. I am sure they are being offered more by the Steelers right now.
DeleteLynch called Aiyuk's bluff and he got caught holding a pair of jacks.
ReplyDeleteSo Aiyuks ego won't let him take the ~$32 Mil P/Y, from NE, and he'll have to live with the 9ers $14.1 Mil P/Y and likely lose that with fines if he continues with the "hold-in?
DeleteSounds like both the 9er FO and Aiyuk have a losing hand?
THE QUESTION IS, how does affect the team?
Does it become a distraction? Does it split the locker room?
Hopefully the Steelers,or some NFL team, will save the day and keep both side from losing! If Aiyuk stays, he'll likely be unhappy and become at best, a distraction and at worst, a locker room cancer!
The Niners have released Logan Ryan.

Woops. Logan Thomas.
DeleteMan, the browns reportedly offered Amari Cooper, 2nd and 5th round picks for Aiyuk.
ReplyDeleteI would have been fine with that trade.
Hoping Aiyuk takes the $26M deal with added incentives.
