  1. I figured they'd want to bring back Robinson next year. He goes to IR with Ward. That means Kroft and Willis return to the roster under the wink, wink rule.

  2. It's an interesting roster construction, but one thing I have learned is the initial 53 often isn't the 53 by the time week 1 comes around.

We already know Jimmie Ward and Curtis Robinson are going on IR, with Willis and Kroft to rejoin the team. With Ward going to IR I wouldn't be surprised to see a safety added (say, Tartt). And I suspect one of the RBs will be cut just prior to week 1 with the hope they can get him through waivers if it is done after initial cuts.

  3. Zakelj making the roster is roster politics at work. No way he outperformed Poe, but he is the draft pick, Poe isn't. Despite Poe mostly impressing, he is probably a pretty safe guy to sneak through to the PS.

    1. Not so fast. I thought Zakelj was on an upward trajectory towards the end, while Poe kind of peaked. Not to mention Poe can only play guard.

    2. Plus I believe Zakelj would have gotten scooped up. I think Poe will make it to the practice squad.

    3. Adam Peters said he was the closest to the “Gold Helmet” status as any 49ers draft pick this year.

      Delete
    4. Zakelj was stuck down the order all camp. He's one for the future, but making the roster over Poe, who at least got reps with the 1s, is a bit of roster politics at play.

      Delete
    5. You're right but he fought his way up through the order to end up on top as an ascending player, and Poe finished poorly signaling his ceiling. Even if it was a tossup between the two, Zakelj has versatility over Poe. Also there's a saying, big people beat up little people. Zekelj is a big dude with the right mental makeup to be an asset for this franchise down the road.

      Delete
    6. If Zakelj was a UDFA instead of a guy they had scouted for 4 years, loved pre-draft, and a draft pick, he wouldn't be on the initial 53.

      Delete
    7. Haha, we'll have to agree to disagree here. If Poe had inside out versatility, maybe he gets the nod. Let's see if Poe gets picked up by any team.

  4. Not surprised to see Turay not make the team. He consistently was seeing time with the 3s and 4s in preseason games, while Omenihu and Willis were starting and Jackson rotating in (with Bosa and Ebukam getting starter treatment). It was really down to Turay vs Hyder, and Hyder provides DT flexibility.

    1. If last year is any indicator, you've got to have a backup that can win 6 games for you. This offensive line in its current development poses the same threats to keeping Lance upright for 17 games, especially when factoring in he'll be running the football more than most.

      Delete
    2. The offensive line is in disarray. Should get better with both tackles playing. Add scheme to it and it probably be like the last few years, run blocking good to really good and pass blocking average when playing their best.

    3. I wouldn't rule out the team adding an interior OL between now and week 1.

I would like the 9ers to try and talk JC Tretter out of retirement.
IMO, he would help both Banks and Buford and stabilize the IOL
      * POE: If he gets thru waivers, I'd like to see the 9ers try him at Center, where IMO, he'd be a better fit.
      * Mason: Glad to see he made the cut to 53.

  7. This is one of my main points re: the JG restructure. I don't like it because the way they handled the whole situation shows this is not what the team wanted or intended to do. It is a concern.

    1. KS explained it pretty clearly today. The intent was to trade him and that is what Garoppolo wanted as well as it would be the only way for him to make the money in his contract. Practicing was not an option as if he got hurt the team couldn't trade or release him. JGs camp eventually came to the conclusion that there was no better option than staying and that's when things got rolling.

So in summary it's not what they intended to do because the player didn't commit to it until a few days ago but it's something they always wanted. If he had agreed to this in March the 49ers would have happily done it then. To say they botched this is a silly overreaction from Maiocco who is usually more level headed.

      Delete
    5. BTW, my big drop in Win total (over/under @ 8.5) is because I expect the 49ers to get off to a slow start, which they almost always do because of the complexity of their offense, with all of the precision required with the pre-snap motion and stuff).

I expect Trey Lance to fold under the pressure now, with Jimmy is lurking on the sideline and in the locker room. I know how it can really rattle a young guy, because I have seen it before. It's just human nature to get rattled when you have an entire team counting on you and someone who the players trust waiting for you to screw up. Jimmy will do his best to get things going but he hasn't even been around the team, hasn't taken a single snap behind this new OL. He hasn't even studied the new playbook. I don't think Jimmy's health (shoulder and everything else) can handle a heavy load, but once Trey's confidence is in the crapper, it's almost impossible for young players to get it back. It's really too bad because I was really looking forward to seeing what this offense could eventually be with a confident Trey Lance towards the end of the season. We already know what to expect from Jimmy, and nobody would even offer him $10M so I don't know what else there is to say about Jimmy, other than he can play well in spurts, when healthy.

  8. Dumbest thing I have ever see in the leadup to a football season.

Great, the 49ers have a good backup QB now. But at what cost? Kurt Warner just explained why this is going to be so difficult, and Kurt was trying to be nice. Like Peter Schrager said this morning, this is going to work out fine ... until it doesn't work out.

In other words, this is going to work out just fine, until Trey Lance has ONE bad game. What a great way to treat your young QB, SMH!

    ReplyDelete
  9. When plans fall apart as it did with JG then those plans become an adventure. JG is one injury away to a starting QB from leaving the team.

Lance was given the keys to a billion-dollar corporation, and he did nothing to earn it. Lance will be given a long leash and will not have any fear of being replaced unless he just stinks it up. I don't see that happening. This situation can be a defining moment for the young quarterback. How he handles it could go a long way towards his success.

    3. "There is absolutely no downside to this. The negative takes are manufactured drama for people to talk about.", lol, now I've heard, and read it all!

Let's look at this situation pragmatically, rather than with blind faith, and use some common sense:

Jimmy Garoppolo, who has a winning history with almost every player on the 49ers roster, and has quarterbacked this team to the Super Bowl, and now his contract is heavily monetarily incentivized for him to take the job away from the young, unproven - Trey Lance, who hasn't yet had the opportunity to win over his teammates.

WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG? LOL

My gosh, do they no longer teach critical thinking in high school anymore?

The chemistry in the 49ers locker room is now a ticking time bomb, not to mention what this actually does to Trey Lance's confidence. Trey Lance may have ice in his veins, but he's human being for crying out loud. And Trey has teammates who all have livelihoods to worry about. The difference between winning and losing can literally be the difference of whether or not some of these young players can even carve out a lucrative NFL career. Not everyone is making tens of millions of dollars. You don't think that if Trey Lance has some early season struggles, which by the way, all young QB's do, and the team gets off to a shaky start similar to the way they did last season (with Jimmy at the helm), that guys won't start looking looking after their own short term interests, and start choosing who they want to be their de facto leader at QB to get back to the playoffs?

Give me a break! This is not even up for debate. There is a reason that teams, once they officially hand over the keys, move on from the former QB if that QB has any kind of winning history with the team. This is just plain nuts!

On Monday morning, I had the 49ers going 12-5 and winning the NFC West based on head to head VS the Rams.

    That's out the window now!

Today, post Jimmy Garoppolo's restructure, I unfortunately have the 49ers over-under win total at 8.5, which probably sees them missing out on the postseason. There is always chance that everything goes well from the start of the season, in which case they could win double digit games, but the 49ers rarely get off to strong starts under Kyle, and there would be no coming back from a slow start now, like they did last season.

A section of fans will always have individual pet peeves against the team's decision makers, however ill-informed or misguided those opinions may be.

We also know that Niners will lose some games and Lance will struggle from time to time. Those fans will unfailingly connect those adversities to their pet peeve :) I routinely shut them out.

I'm just so excited to see the Niners heading into the season in generally good health and depth at all positions (except the O line which is a problem for all but a small handful of teams).

    4. Oline to me is less a problem and more an unknown. We haven't really seen all 5 playing together yet, we can assume the interior will have issue but they also have a lot of potential. Hmm, where did I "lambast" anyone about keeping Purdy? My earlier comment about some fans (mostly Jimmy G "haters") was regarding their reaction to the signing of Jimmy G as the backup (mostly based on what I read on The Athletic).

Anyway, Niners chose Jimmy G over Sudfeld, not Purdy. I'm hard pressed to see Niners carry 3 QBs. Let's see how long Purdy lasts on the 53 with players coming back from IR and PUP.

      Delete
    3. Mood: Here is your direct response to my post. As you can see it had nothing to do with Jimmy G.

So Mr. Irrelevant has a decent game against back-ups and third stringers and fans are in a tizzy that another team will sign the rookie (who has never played for them) to their 53 as their third QB??!! Every team has carried 3-4 QBs in their 90, and they are likely to choose their own third-string QB if they choose to carry 3. This is a league where Colt McCoy made vet minimum last season, IIRC, relishing his opportunity to beat Kyle and the Niners :)

      Delete
    4. Also, I don't see it as the team choosing Jimmy G over Sudfeld with regards to Purdy. As I see it, they are looking for Purdy to develop into the backup under the expectation that Jimmy G will be gone next year. In my opinion, Purdy is more suited to backup Lance then Sudfeld primarily because of his mobility, which might mean that KS will have the more of the Lance playbook available to him should Purdy need to step in. Further, at the moment, Purdy seems to be more accurate than Lance (at least over the middle - check out the article over on NN regarding Purdy). That article shows videos of some unbelievable passes that Purdy made into extremely tight windows (and it wasn't with the kind of velocity that Lance has). Sure he made rookie mistakes, but the potential is there.

      Delete
    5. Cubus,

Aaah, that was a comment from the hoary past of 10 days ago. You are right that I don't think much of Purdy being in the 53. And I absolutely think that no team will pick him up to be in their 53 if Niners cut him.

I will definitely make sure that next time I will address my disagreement/amusement with your views directly and with Harbaughesque EUTM.

      Delete
    6. "Also, I don't see it as the team choosing Jimmy G over Sudfeld with regards to Purdy."
Purdy was #3 QB last week and he's the #3 QB right now. Nothing has changed for him. The only reason Sudfeld is gone, IMO, is the money.

"As I see it, they are looking for Purdy to develop into the backup under the expectation that Jimmy G will be gone next year."
They coach every player to maximize their potential as long as they are on the team. I have seen or heard nothing that indicates that they are grooming him to be next season's backup.

" In my opinion, Purdy is more suited to backup Lance then Sudfeld..."
I don't like either as viable backups in a Super Bowl contending team. I expect ShanaLynch to continue looking for a better candidate next off-season.

"That article shows videos of some unbelievable passes that Purdy made into extremely tight windows..."
Most of those throws will be INTs against starting defenses because of the lack of sufficient ball speed, IMO. I like Purdy's maturity and attitude, but it seems to me that his physical limitations will make him just an improved version of Mullens (more mobile and more arm strength). Hope I am proved wrong.

    7. 30 would be a lot, but not out of the question.

In general, if you average around 24 ppg or above you are a good shot at making the playoffs. So 2.5 to 3 TDs, plus 1
      to 2.5 FGs pg.

30 rushing TDs would be almost 2 pg. Would take a lot of pressure off Lance throwing for TDs to win games.

  35. It's getting close to opening day.

    1. Lance will be fine, he will have some rough spots but all and all he will be fine.

    2. The O-line is going to be hard to watch especially in pass protection. However, Burford has the ingredients to be all pro. Banks is a big wide body not great at anything, but he is solid.

    3. Shanny wants to run the ball, that is first and foremost. With Lance at the helm the eighth guy in the box will have to account for Lance.

    4. JG will not be a distraction to begin with. Lance is going to have to stink it up for a while before JG even becomes a thought. With the way injuries accrue I suspect JG will be playing for someone else before trade deadline, if not Niners have a winning QB in the shadows.

    5. The defensive line is stacked and if rookie Drake Jackson pans out, well, look out QB's. Bosa, Kinlaw, Armstead, Jackson oh my.

    6. This might be the best secondary the Niners have had in many years.

    7. Unknowns - O line and the running backs.

There is no way this team misses the playoffs. In fact, they should win the West by sweeping the division and will be the number one seed in the NFC.

    1. There will be no grace period for Trey Lance's 49ers career, and that is simply an unfair thing to do to an inexperienced 22 year old QB!

There is a reason that coach Jim Harbaugh had enough common sense to jettison Alex Smith as soon as he possibly could after the 2012 season, just as Andy Reid had the same common sense to jettison Alex after Mahomes was named the Chiefs starter in 2018, even though Alex never experienced the same level of success as Jimmy!

If only Kyle Shanahan had the 2 qualities he's sorely lacking - 1) Common sense, 2) Courage (and the conviction that comes with courage) - he just might have been the greatest HC of all-time, rather than a HC with a below .500 regular season record, and THREE of the biggest postseason choke-jobs in NFL history!

Apparently Trey Lance was NOT named team captain this season, which in an of itself doesn't spell disaster, but it does reinforce why this situation is so perilous! After all, Jimmy Garoppolo has been voted team-captain, more than once, by this same group of players!

For me, I certainly didn't need to hear from Peter King, who clearly understands the problems created by keeping Jimmy this season. Just like I didn't need to hear Joe Staley talk about the real potential for the 49ers locker room to quickly splinter if Trey struggles early on, because I wrote about it on this blog the same day Jimmy officially became the 49ers "backup who has his sights set on regaining his starting stature". Just like I didn't need my good friends to label this season "Jimmy's Revenge Tour", for me to understand why this year's team is now BOUND TO FAIL!

The 49ers QB controversy is REAL, and is now a ticking timebomb! Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Tick Tock!

    1. Lance not being a captain makes perfect sense on a roster with so many proven, All Pro calibre veterans in place. Definitely should be a case of earning the role, not being handed it.

    2. No, Trey Lance probably hasn't earned the right to be named captain, but that wasn't my point.

My point is that one guy who has been named team captain for 4 straight years, is actually sitting behind Trey on the depth chart, and likely angling to retake his starting spot to become a 49ers team captain again.

That's the point! And it further demonstrates why the 49ers are playing with fire by holding onto Jimmy.

Plus, the 49ers OL is in absolute shambles, IMO, with RT McGlinchey clearly hobbled today in practice, and there is a very good chance that Trey Lance will seriously struggle early on, especially since I expect him to be running for his life, because the 49ers shamefully neglected their OL this offseason.

And IF Trey struggles early, which I suspect he very well might, and the 49ers start losing ground in the NFC West, the 49ers locker room is going to split like a wooden log, while the season goes up in flames!

The answer to Joe's one big question about holding onto Jimmy G, is unquestionably YES! No doubt about it!

The 49ers locker room rallied behind Jimmy during his struggles last season, because they used the fact that it was probably their last season together, as a rallying cry. Trey Lance will get no such benefit from the 49ers locker room as long as Jimmy remains on their roster!

    4. Heck, Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch practically admitted as such: “We all know how it’ll go,” Shanahan said yesterday, “The fact that he has this successful quarterback behind him, that’s obvious how that narrative will be and understandably so.”

      You think??? No doy??

Like Rob Rob Guerrera wrote very astutely this morning (he is also the host of Niners Nation Podcast):

"If you want to say the title of captain is meaningless, that’s fine, but why not throw Lance a bone in that case? Name him a captain, avoid all the scrutiny and send a message inside the locker room that you’re behind him - especially with Jimmy Garoppolo still on the roster. If the title of captain does have meaning, what have they not seen from him that they want to see? The 49ers are choosing violence, again and again, when it comes to Trey Lance. They could have shown faith in him by clearing the deck before free agency, getting Jimmy Garoppolo out of town, and adding more depth at offensive line and safety. They didn’t. They could have shown faith in him during training camp by getting Jimmy Garoppolo off the team then. They didn’t. Instead, they restructured Garoppolo’s deal and continued to feed the narrative that they aren’t all-in on Trey. The fact that they have continued to choose to walk the hard road with Trey over the easy road tells you something. They’re doing it because they think they have to. They’re willing to suffer the slings and arrows because, in their mind it’s better than the alternative. You don’t pack a parachute unless you think there’s a chance you might have to jump out of the plane, and that’s true no matter how much some fans want to hide under the covers and pretend the monster can’t see them."

I've been extremely worried about Trey's development since the day he was drafted. The fact that every single meaningful decision the 49ers have made regarding Trey's development since then, tells me I am spot on, as usual. I don't relish being the barer of bad news for The Faithful, anything but. BUT I AM TOO OLD TO BLINDLY FOLLOW ANYONE, OR ANY TEAM! And I remain 100% convinced, now more than ever, that Kyle Shanahan will fail in his development of Trey Lance, because Kyle just doesn't understand the psyche of young players, and especially at the QB position. The most important thing a HC can do for a young QB is make it crystal clear that you believe in them. You don't constantly send the opposite message by way of your actions. And now, the only way I can see Trey Lance changing the narrative that Kyle has fostered, is if Trey plays like a super star from day one, starting this Sunday, and avoids the pitfalls that all first-year starters go thru. And I think that is highly unlikely, in large part, because Trey's confidence is already teetering, and the 49ers new look, incredibly inexperienced OL is likely not up to the challenge of protecting him!

    2. The fact that Jimmy Garoppolo came crawling back despite being embarrassed by the organization, and forced into a submissive role - carrying Trey's clipboard, tells you everything you need to know about Jimmy G as a competitor - why Jimmy has never improved over the years, and why he failed so miserably in all of the big games. And it also explains why I was right about his value, or I should say LACK OF VALUE, and there wasn't a single NFL team willing to trade for him during the offseason.

Jimmy doesn't really need the money right now, so if he had even an ounce of PRIDE, he would never have renegotiated his contract down to backup level pay, for the team that has been openly trying to kick him to the curb for the last couple YEARS!

I just think it’s kind of sad how so many Niner fans are choosing to simply gloss over the issues on the interior of the OL, not to mention just how questionable McGlinchey’s health appears to be. THERE IS NO BIGGER OBSTACLE FOR A YOUNG QB, THAN A BELOW AVERAGE OL! The 49ers will have at least 3, possibly 4, first year starters on their OL! That’s unheard of in today’s NFL!

The OVER / UNDER for wins, because of the neglect on the interior of the OL, should be set at exactly 8.5, meaning .500, despite perhaps the best defensive unit in the NFL!

Does Kyle really believe we are stupid, and can't find out that the 49ers named 7 team captains over both of the last 2 seasons, or does he just not care?

    1. I knew with Lance not being named a captain was just going to get under your skin. I think we just ought to hand it to him and give him our sincerest apologies, don't you? In fact, why don't we make him the ONLY captain, after all we need to sooth his inner feelings after JG was signed to the team.

      Delete
    2. Nobody is expecting Kyle to hand Trey anything!

But how in the world is it considered "handing" Trey a team-captain title, when Trey received (EARNED) the 7th most votes on the team, according to Kyle, when EARNING the 7th most votes was enough votes to be named captain over the last 2 seasons? How does that make sense? That's the opposite of handing Trey anything, it's actually much more equivalent to "TAKING SOMETHING AWAY!"

At the very least, it's widely considered demeaning to Trey Lance, from any unbiased fan and/or reporter's perspective, so why do it? How about building the kid UP before the start of the season, rather than continuously going out of your way to tear the kid DOWN? If the 7th most votes was enough to be named captain in each of the last 2 seasons, how can this be construed in any other way than as a knock on Trey's leadership, and how does knocking Trey's leadership help him as a leader?

It makes no sense, and in fact is probably counterproductive in terms of Trey's confidence, and ability to lead, because everyone knows he should be seen as a team leader if he's doing things correctly. But like I said, I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, coming from Kyle Shanahan, who doesn't seem to understand how to develop QB's, and as a result, has never developed a QB in his lifetime! QB's either stop growing under Kyle's head coaching (like Trey has), or actually regress (like Jimmy G, Hoyer, Mullens, Beathard, Sudfeld have), and that's a fact!

He constantly gave Jake the impression that nothing he ever did as a QB was good enough. And Jake says it crushed him from a confidence standpoint, because it didn't really matter how well he played, it was never good enough!

Jake: “I think he (Mike Shanahan) had done what he could do and was just tapped out as far as his coaching style wasn’t motivating guys anymore! His style is just what it is. I think we’re seeing that he isn’t the special coach he thought he was. He’s a great coach, but he’s not like some of those guys that will take a player (QB), and play to his strengths. Coach Fox, man, look at what he’s doing. You think he’s going to force Tebow to throw 30 times a game? No. They’re going to try to win with what he can do, and it’s kind of fun to see."

The NFL player turned podcaster points to the Niners "not making Lance a team captain and bringing back Garoppolo as PROOF that they lack faith in their young quarterback"!

Kyle was asked: How much does that kind of outside noise affect the 49ers coach?

"Zero," Shanahan responded while laughing. "IT SOUNDS LIKE 'A FAN TALKING', and someone who REALLY DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT! 'Not to insult a fan or anything', but there wasn't anything substantial right there. That's just reading headlines and trying to make that into a football opinion."

    7. Under...agree. Lance was my top QB choice that year (besides TL, but he was going #1 so why even consider it?). If they had to get a QB he was the one.

Now do I think the team would have been better using that #3 pick, which they traded up for, trading back on draft day to acquire a pick or so and instead getting a Kyle Pitts to team with Kittle? Or staying at 12 and getting a Parsons to team next to Bosa? Sure, both of those would have helped Jimmy and the team as a whole during the 21 season, I mean think of an offense with Kittle, Deebo, BA and Pitts?!?! Insane, but they wanted a young QB who they hope could be here for the next 15 years, I'm good with that. I believe they should have sat him for 2 years, instead of 1, and let him truly ease in as he had not played a lot in college and was extremely green, but they made the move this year. Hope he succeeds cause his success is SFs, but even if he struggles (or gets hurt) and Jimmy takes over does not spell his doom on the team, I mean we all saw those rookies play horribly last year and will most likely play only slightly better this year but no one's giving up on them.

But what I can't stand for is a dude like Lesions who keeps posting hyperbole, who thinks he's this genius and probably never played one snap in his life, and brings such a pessimism to this board it makes it not enjoyable to be here because, and I can only speak for myself, we disengage from conversation, no one wants to talk to a lunatic only. 8. First off, I'm not "always" right, I am "usually" right. I've been following the 49ers closely since the early 80's, so I've seen a lot. I've seen enough to understand how important confidence is for a young QB. How important it is for him to feel like he can make a mistake, have a bad game, without worrying about the locker room turning on him, going back to the QB whom they are familiar with, and they know they can gop far with. Not having to look over his shoulder and see a QB who is still relatively young, and who has a history of success with this team. Not having to watch his back, worrying about whether Jimmy is doing what most competitors would do in the same situation, naturally looking to regain his starting QB position, even if it means he might need to undermine the kid in order to make it happen. A QB (and 4-time team captain), in Jimmy who is literally financially incentivized to do whatever it takes to regain his staring spot, even as soon as midseason, perhaps "especially" as soon as midseason. That's really not a level playing field. Jimmy already naturally has much more support among his teammates because they've been through it together. That's the way athletes brains work. They don't care what is best for the team long-term, if that in anyway means there will be short term losses, because a lot of these guys livelihood's depend on success NOW, not next season, or and certainly not what's best for the next 5 seasons!

Kyle hasn't created a level playing field, he's actually created the toughest environment for a young QB to succeed, despite an extremely talented all-around roster. Why would any smart HC spend 3 first round picks on a young, inexperienced QB, and not give him the support every young QB needs in order to be given the best chance to succeed? I believe it would hbe hugely beneficial for Trey Lance to go through the growing pains this season, without looking over his shoulder, wondering if he's going to be replaced before midseason by a QB who has the receipts. A QB who has every advantage, and every incentive to replace you, and prevent you from getting the opportunity to reach your potential.

Keeping Jimmy Garoppolo basically sealed the 49ers losing fate this season, and I'm angry about it. I feel bad for Trey, and I feel extremely disappointed about the long term success of my favorite team, because I understand just how badly the deck has been needlessly stacked against Trey Lance.

It would be one thing if I wasn't 100% convinced that Jimmy isn't the long term answer at QB, but he's the worst BIG GAME QB I have ever seen, and the numbers support this opinion. I like Jimmy, but I like my 49ers winning championships, and I am sick and tired of coming up short, knowing ahead of time that the team is likely going to come up short!

  56. Dude!!! 49Lesions, you just spammed the board with 13 posts in the last 24 hours. There were only 2 other people who posted a message, you were talking to yourself.

Do you not understand how egomaniacal you look? Stop this crap, it ruins the experience. And stop posting like you're some football idiot savant, you aren't, at all...you talk like a dude who thinks the WWF drama is reality and how it occurs in all sports...it doesn't.

Stop with the hyperbole please (if you don't know what hyperbole is, please look it up).

It's one thing to discuss and react, its another to think you're Bill Walsh and think you a mastermind of the NFL game, players, coaching etc.

    2. I will gladly disappear if I'm wrong about the Trey Lance situation, so you should feel good about that.

Just like I would have disappeared by now if Jimmy didn't end up costing the 49ers their 2nd Lombardi Trophy in the last 3 seasons, like I had predicted.

Just like I would have disappeared by now if a team, ANY TEAM, had wanted Jimmy bad enough to actually trade for him this off-season.

Seriously, I would have been gone a long time ago, if I hadn't been proven right time, and time, and time again!

    3. No you won't. You promised to "disappear" when the niners beat the cowboys, you didn't, you left for not even 1 month and then went on a childlike rampage of impersonations, spamming, and annoyance.

We get that you have nothing at all in your life, but maybe just maybe stop being a clown and instead just post sensible, succinct, and limited posts, and don't reply to your thesis paper length posts with more thesis paper length posts, rambling nonsense the lot of them.

Again, just be a sane person, mkay?

    2. Ill tell you what. I've made my point now, eMJay, so I am going to disappear until 10/3, week 4 on MNF VS the Rams.

We'll see how Trey and this OL are doing at that point, and I'll reassess! Who knows, maybe this team will surprise me by then?

      STAY TUNED!
