Thanks very much for publishing all the comparisons you do. This one makes me appreciate Purdy even more. Maybe Buckner will help push Sam’s number up a bit.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure George. You're one of the guys I keep this blog going for.
DeleteOh, come on. What would you be doing without us? (Joking)
DeleteA potential reunion between Jauan Jennings and the San Francisco 49ers reportedly fell apart after the veteran wide receiver made it clear he had no interest in returning to the team. According to NFL insider Jay Glazer, the 49ers and Minnesota Vikings had a trade agreement in place that would have sent Jennings back to San Francisco.
ReplyDelete"Pride commeth befor the fall."
DeleteAgreed George. JJ would rather sit than work for his money.
DeleteI think Aiyuk now has a friend.
DeleteTBH- don't blame him......... he knows the WR group is returning and he will eventually slide down the ladder- and Stribling is the future.
DeleteLooks like a close, but no cigar outcome. Like Evans, JJ was adept at climbing the ladder for a high pass. Taller WRs give Purdy bigger targets which adds a nice dimension to his game.
ReplyDeleteMe personally, I wouldn't draft anymore small receivers.
DeleteHaving a mix isn't a bad thing, but Purdy has shown an unwillingness to pass to anyone that doesn't prove they'll fight for the ball and be in the right place when expected. The small WRs they've had the past few years haven't shown that.
DeleteNo more unbeaten teams left. Vikings went down.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope the Viking tackle us the way they did the Lions today.
