  2. Rumours are yhe 49ers have received offers for 33, but so far nothing sufficient to get them to move.

    1. Lol! He was in my all underrated draft. Really like him. Don't like him at 33 though.

    2. Would've liked him better at 58 but I think we got our answer on Morris' input. Typical 49ers don't give two **cks about where they draft a kid as long as they believe in him and the fit.

    3. That is definitely their MO. But that's some very useful players they are passing up to get a guy that probably could and should have been taken later.

    4. I had him going to the 49ers in the fourth round in the mock I wasn't able to finish. His profile fits what the 49ers want at WR.

    5. Like Scooter, I had Stribling late 2nd round.

    6. Razor - exactly, I think it should be that way.

    7. Physicality paired with size and speed is what you get with Stribling.

  4. WR De'Zhaun Stribling at pick 33.

  5. I like Stribling, but not at pick 33.

  6. Stribling is a blocking machine too. Didn't think he'd go that high, but I knew he'd be a player of interest.

    1. Yeah, exactly. I said a month or so ago I didn't understand why he was so far down the consensus boards. I had him as a late 2nd/ early 3rd.

    2. Yep, I was sold after one play where he put his man into the ground. I got the sense he might have had a smile on his face too just like Kittle.

  7. Reach at 33, but a good fit. Lets go!

  8. Stribling has experience across three conferences with elite run blocking and speed. Zero fumbles and a 2% drop rate. Pretty fresh and so clean.

    1. Productive since his freshman year. Really never understood how he was slept on.

    2. He's also considered one of the top run blockers in this year's WR class.

    3. I brought up Stribling's name back in March, but I saw him in the late 2nd to mid 3rd range. But, you guys are right, he was being slept on.

  9. If they don't go edge with their next pick I think we might see a J. Bosa signing

  10. I think the most frustrating part of taking Stribling at 33 is that they had offers to move down. Was Stribling really going to go ahead of whatever pick they could have moved to? And if he did... was he really ranked that far ahead of their next guy?

    1. Likely questions that get answered at their next presser.

    2. So apparently the Rams really wanted him.

    3. If he's serious about his craft, he could be a diet coke version of TO.

    4. Blocking by the WR is very important to the Niners.

    5. The Rams draft thus far has been a nightmare.💀

  11. Dee Winters trade to the Cowboys

    1. I figured he'd get traded. Made too much sense.

    2. Wondered when that would happen.

    3. Pick 152.

I wonder if one of these later picks will be used to move up from 58?

    4. If the opportunity presents itself, Scooter and it lines up with their guy, absolutely!

  12. I agree Stribling was taken too early, but I have also said I don't see much difference in the talent from the lower part of the first round to the fourth round. Stribling is also a better prospect than you are making him out to be. My grade on the pick is a B+. There were some better options at 33, but the 49ers drafted a WR who fits what they need on offense.

    1. Under - We have the 26th pick in the 2nd round. Pick 58.

Hopefully it is Edge (Jacas). That is the biggest need IMO

    2. Thanks Mug must have been having a senior moment.

    3. Nah Don't think that! You're an inspiration with all your White Water Rafting and Jungle livin' :)

  14. Dieter is saying there is no chance Stribling was going to last to 58. Which tbf, aligns with what Brugler said April 17 - that he was a certain top 64 guy and only question was how high.

  15. Sounds like Stribling is the anti-Aiyuk, personality wise.

    1. That's encouraging. Only knock on him I can find is a few 35 yard games.

  16. Per Jeff Deeney.

Third and De'Zhaun?? De'Zhaun Stribling caught 61% of his third-down targets over his collegiate career while averaging 13.8 yards per reception on third down.

  17. Honestly not shocked to see McNeil-Warren still available.

  18. Tiernan, Dunker, Barham, Height or Onyenim at 58?

  19. I seem to be in the minority here but I am not impressed with the Stribling pick for a number of reasons. #1 I think their need at G or Edge was much bigger than their need at WR. #2 I think this pick was a big reach. It was rumored that they had multiple trade offers for their pick and I believe they could have moved back 10 spots and still landed Stribling. This pick reminds me of the Pearsall pick. I hope I am wrong but I give this pick a C-

    1. I tried to tell you WR first. Would've likely been Concepcion had he not been taken.

  20. Boerkircher I liked a lot but he went way higher. I had him in Round 4.
