  1. Those first two picks are what I am currently expecting.

    1. He beats man and press coverage, reliable against zone and plays big with the ball in space. I guess you really can’t ask for much more out of a Round 1 receiver prospect.

    2. Yep. The drops concern me, and not convinced of his ability to catch in traffic, but he gets open and can be a weapon in multiple ways.

    3. I've cooled a little on Concepcion, but wouldn't be mad if the 49ers draft him. I believe that he makes a faster contribution than what Watkins and Cowings has so far. Kirk will be the 3rd WR, but KC will receive plenty of snaps in his rookie season. Pending...

  2. Height is my #1 draft crush. I think he would be a perfect fit for Morris's scheme. I think they might have to move up in the 2nd round to get him. I wouldn't mind seeing them package their 2nd with 2 4ths to move up at least 10 spots. The problem with that is that would leave the 49ers with only 4 picks in the draft and they need to fill more than 4 spots. Maybe they could package this years 2nd with next years 3rd. A IOL/S or WR in the first (BPA) along with Height in the 2nd and I would be a happy man.

    1. In my humble opinion, you don't want to trade any 2027 assets away as it will be a better draft. You want to acquire at least one day 3 pick next year from one of those 4th rounders.

    2. I agree with you about the 27 draft. I just think Height could get 7 to 12 sacks his rookie year with how Morris could use him. I see him becoming a top 10, top 15 pass rusher. I would hate to miss him by 1,2 or 3 picks

    3. Simple fix is to trade up for Height and then recoup capital by trading down with another 4th rounder.

  5. OL Robert Jones is signing with the 49ers per Pelissero. That means he cleared his medicals. There's your LG in house favorite, OldCoach. May the best man win!

    2. I don't think this will preclude them drafting an OL day 3. Missed last year, and wasn't that good with the Dolphins.

I think this is a replacement for Bartch to compete with Toth, Colby, Zakelj and likely a draft pick for the LG spot.

    3. Absolutely Scooter, but he'll still be the favorite. Doesn't mean he can't lose out to a dark horse candidate.

    4. What would be cool is if Nick Zakelj could draw inspiration from McKivitz to come back after being cut to win that LG job.

    5. 😂I bet you said the same thing about McKivitz!

    6. Thats the competition I asked for. I was hoping for a player with a little higher PFF ranking but he was a starting OG in the league. His signing pretty much guarantees that they wont go O line in rounds one and two. Now all they have to do is extend Williams and sign J. Bosa for them to have the best off season in the past 10 years

    7. Razor, McKivitz came back and showed some nice reps in year 3, which earned him first shot at the starting role in year 4. Zakelj is already heading into year 5 and is buried well down the pecking order.

So, will be cool if it happens, but the above is why I say it is unlikely.
