Michael Penix might be exactly what the San Francisco 49ers need to finally get their first interception of the year. He has the highest bad-throw percentage in the NFL despite facing pressure at the lowest rate. Threw a pick 6 against the Panthers.
The Falcons defense might be exactly what the San Francisco 49ers need to finally get their run game rolling. Ranked 20th against the run, the Falcons defensive strength is in their secondary ranking 5th against the pass. Mac Jones when blitzed last week at Tampa: 8-14, 5.6 YPA, 2 INT, 3 sacks, 33.3 rating. That's gotta change and it starts with Kittle's return to the lineup as their 6th offensive lineman. The Falcons DC, Jeff Ulbrich has blitzed more than Brian Flores and leads the league in blitz rate at a whopping 40%. Last week against the Bills he blitzed at 56%. The 49ers win this game 27-20!
49ers Inactives:
QB Brock Purdy NCB Upton Stout WR Ricky Pearsall WR Jordan Watkins DL Yetur Gross-Matos RB Jordan James G Drew Moss
Robinson is a weapon as a RB and a WR. Through Week 6 he had 83 rushing attempts for 484 yards and 2 touchdowns, along with 24 receptions for 338 yards and 2 TD's. Stop him and the 9er win.
ReplyDeleteAtlanta QB Penix also has WR London and TE Kyle Pitts. The 9er D
needs to pressure Penix and force him into making mistakes.
Ji’Ayir Brown and Marques Sigle looking like the starting safeties. Chase Lucas gets the start in the slot.
ReplyDeleteI think we will win this game because it is Nationally televised.
ReplyDeleteShanahan will be auditioning for COTY. Saleh for his next head coaching gig and MacJ for his next starting role.
So we should expect the best out of these guys, which I’m should be enough to overwhelm the Falcons.
Go Niners 31-24!
Niners going to win this one.
ReplyDeleteThe 49ers are having trouble against Atlanta's tall London and Pitts.
ReplyDeleteD needs to keep putting pressure on Penix.
It's going to be a close game.
