In the 49ers' first game without Nick Bosa, their defense had no sacks and no QB hits for the first time in a game since Sept. 20, 2015, against the Steelers.
Sacks: 0
QB hits: 0
QB pressures: 5
5 pressures is their lowest total since last year's blowout loss in Buffalo, which was without Bosa. Without this dude I'm afraid we're SOL fellas.
MIA and SOL! That's a hell of a combination. LOL

DeleteYep. The problem this team was always going to face was if they lose some star players to injury. It's why I can't/ couldn't get on board with this team being a real contender - would need a lot of luck.
ReplyDeleteThe good thing out of this is 2025 will give the young players on the roster a lot of opportunity to improve.
When you look at the amount of snaps Bosa took last year (86%), I fear there's a correlation.
DeleteDefinitely a correlation between Bosa playing and overall defensive performance. It's why they drafted the youngsters. Now need them to develop.
DeleteI think moving forward they need to keep Bosa at around 76% of the defensive snaps. 86% is way too much imho.
