What If You Were The GM?

It's time to put that GM hat on and show us how its done. That's exactly what I've done in this mock draft. I went up and got that "foundational 8-10 year" OT that AES wanted and filled glaring holes in the depth at Safety, TE and DL. Added a Wide Receiver early in anticipation of Deebo moving on next year. I expect they'll want to move on from either Mitchell or Mason and Shipley reminds me of CMC. Let's hear your thoughts and see what you can do!

***TRADE ALERT***

Hay Is In The Barn

The San Francisco 49ers remodeled their defensive front through free agency by trading a 7th round pick, number 251 for DT Maliek Collins, and signed the following players: DT Jordan Elliott/DE Leonard Floyd/LB DeVondre Campbell/DE Yetur Gross-Matos. With that in mind, here is my final mock draft to help extend their Super Bowl window. I did not execute any trades and attempted to keep it realistic as far as who could be available and system fit. Not necessarily how I would approach this draft but more along the lines of how I think Shanahan/Lynch might.

New Ownership

Jed York has purchased the San Francisco 49ers and is now the principal owner. He's grown up to be a great owner and I think he deserved it. How do you feel about the move?

Why Trading Aiyuk Is No Bueno

1. Chemistry and trust between Purdy and Aiyuk thats been developed, and the upside from it continuing to grow together.

2. In 2025 Deebo Samuel's dead cap hit of  $15.143 million will make it much easier to to move on should his 2024 season indicate they would need to.

3. Trading Aiyuk is a gamble that might not ultimately prevent them from getting back to a Super Bowl, but I think we can all agree it wouldn't help either.

Is this another Buckner/Armstead conundrum or how does everyone else see it?

Bargain Basement Deal

 Official Contract Details for Jon Feliciano: 1 Yr, $2.75M, $940K signing bonus, salary $1.21M (gtd), per

@AaronWilson_NFL

The #49ers will forfeit their original fifth-round selection in the 2025 Draft and will have their 2024 fourth-round selection (#131) move to the end of the fourth round, behind the compensatory picks (#135).   This action resulted from a league review that found administrative payroll accounting errors at the close of the 2022 league year that resulted in a misreporting of the club’s cumulative player compensation. The NFL determined that the club would have remained under the salary cap at all times regardless of the error and there was no intent to circumvent the cap.

The #49ers signed offensive lineman Brandon Parker to a one-year contract. Parker appeared in 59 regular-season games with 33 starts for the Raiders since 2018.

Gameday Week 10: Seahawks vs 49ers

  Sounds as if Kittle is out for this game and Williams will likely play. Can Eric Saubert step up and fill some of that void? I think he ca...
