San Francisco 49ers Draft Picks By Round

  • Round 1, Pick 31
  • Round 2, Pick 63
  • Round 3, Pick 94
  • Round 3, Pick 98
  • Round 4, Pick 124 (from DAL)
  • Round 4, Pick 131
  • Round 5, Pick 175
  • Round 6, Pick 208
  • Round 6, Pick 213
  • Round 6, Pick 214
  • Round 7, Pick 248

1st Round: (31) Darius Robinson, DE, Missouri ~ Will be the big DE opposite Bosa to compliment their speed rushers, Jackson and Beal. Has inside out versatility.

2nd Round: (63) Kiran Amegadjie, OT, Yale ~ Prototypical length and size for the position. Can also play guard. Coming off surgery to repair quad injury sustained in 2023. 36" arms.

3rd Round: (94) Mike Sainristil, NB, Michigan ~ Smaller size allows the 49ers the opportunity to land one of my favorite players in the draft. He plays big and he plays smart.

3rd Round: (98) Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, S, Texas ~ Super versatile and smart defensive back with agility and closing speed. Over 500 special teams snaps.

4th Round: (131) Khristian Boyd, DT, Northern Iowa~Push-pull is his best move which was on display during the Shrine Bowl practices. Could fill that rotational role at 3t and 1t.

5th Round: (175) Anthony Gould, WR, Oregon State ~ New punt returner

6th Round: (208) Tatum Bathune, LB, Florida St ~ Instinctual inside linebacker with awareness to cover and make plays in the passing game. Great reactionary quickness.

6th Round: (213) Charles Turner III, C, LSU ~ Athletic and versatile center that could probably play RT in a pinch.

6th Round: (214) Trey Knox, TE, South Carolina ~ Wide receiver turned TE with a big catch radius. Can block inline, in space and seperate from man before the catch point.

7th Round: (248) Jaden Shirden, RB, Monmouth ~ Reminds me of Mostert and had huge production with 23 TD's in 2 years. Has the talent for this offense that I'd take a flyer on.

• extend Brandon Aiyuk

• lock Jauan Jennings into a long-term deal • re-sign Jon Feliciano (roughly 5M/year) • re-sign Clelin Ferrell (roughly 4M/year) FA splash signing: • OL Mike Onwenu (projected to be worth 13M/year)

Restructure: Deebo and Fred

Super Bowl Sunday: San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip its been. It's like waking up on Christmas Morning. I can only imagine what its like for the players. Shanny has the best team he's ever had with a chance to cement his legacy against the best of the best in Pat Mahomes and Andy Reid. Since Kyle Shanahan took over as the HC of the #49ers, he is 6-0 in playoff games where he is favored. The #49ers are currently 2 point favorites vs the #Chiefs in the Super Bowl on @BovadaOfficialOnly one SB winner in the last 20 years scored less points than KC did this season (PIT in 2008).

In The Loop

I got an opportunity to ask Steve Young a question Monday night:

Steve, how big a factors do humility and confidence play in the success of an NFL QB, and can you define how you manage the dichotomy between the two?

I would call it vulnerability, I think there's an emotional maturity that as you play more you really need so you can be honest with yourself. When you're playing really well, and everyone tells you that you're great, then you start to believe it, hey I'm great, and then you don't do the work and you don't have the humility to say hey look, you suck, you're not doing the job, and to be at the top of the league, if you're gonna be that type of a guy, you have to have that weekly check in with yourself and so I think humility you call it, I call it vulnerability, just to be able to take in information and not tell people to shove it, and then the confidence that comes with that. I think they actually work together. If you do it right, I think there's a loop of vulnerability to truth and criticism and things that really can matter that you have to be a judge of cuz everybodies, if you read the paper you can get the criticism but the real people that you trust and even yourself watching, how do I take in something and learn to be better, and the confidence that comes out of that because you're actually getting better. I thought everyday I want to be better everyday. I wanna be the best I can ever be, and I'm never gonna give an inch. Until the day I retired I kinda felt that way, and I don't know if I pulled it off but at least it was intentional. It was aspirational, but those things aren't at odds if you think about them the right way.

Sources tell @CBSSports the 49ers Super Bowl practice field measured a bit soft for their liking last week. The field passes all safety tests, but SF’s preference is for it to be firmer. They have a walkthrough on it today and will determine next steps cbssports.com/nfl/news/super

Gameday Week 10: Seahawks vs 49ers
