The More Things Change, The More They Stay The Same

Grant Cohn truly believes himself to be on the same level of football intelligentsia as Kyle Shanahan. What a waste of a press pass....

  1. In an IQ contest with a head of lettuce, Grant Cohn would have to cheat to come in 3rd place!

    1. I would have thought that by now, this guy would have separated himself from his dad's coat-tail. He has not!

  2. A classic case of his fan base stroking his ego to where he actually believes himself to be the smartest man in the room.

  4. I seldom agree with GC but the question he asked KS I felt ,was a good question. I would like to know why Mason isn't getting any playing time especially with how poorly Mitchell is running. With GC most of the time the problem isn't with his content but in his tone. imho

    1. Not the question but the premise.

    2. Coach,
The question was asked with the assumption that Shanahan didn't trust Mason. That's TMZ sensationalizm with the intent of getting a rise out of Shanahan. Oh wait! GC isn't that smart. It was just a whack question.

  5. What things does Jordan Mason need to work on to move up Bobby Turner's food chain? See how easy that was?

  6. You can even humanize the question before asking the example I just gave. "If I'm the 3rd string back, I'm not content and want to do everything in my power to try and move up the pecking order".

  7. Cohn also has worked hard for a reputation of foolishness at 4949 and phrasing his question in the fashion he did does nothing to dispel that notion.

    2. * The 9ers also elevated rookie C Corey Luciano from the practice squad. He'll serve as the 9ers 8th O-Lineman this Sunday.
      * I thought the 9ers would call up OG Henry Byrd To replace Nick Zakelj, not Luciano, the undrafted OC.from Washington

    3. A BLAST FROM THE PAST:
Kyle Shanahan shared on Friday, after practice, that the team had worked out veteran corner Jason Verrett on Thursday and plans to sign him to the team's practice squad in the coming days.
“We tried him out,” Shanahan said. “We don’t have him signed yet. [We’ll] work over that this weekend and see how that ends up for next week. Most likely practice squad. That’s where he was in Houston Texans, but nothing official yet.”
