The stench of the last game is still in my nostrils. Will the 49ers clear the air? Not if they don't start making tackles. Not if they...

So excited to see 49ers football back! In other news, Zach Wilson looks like he injured his knee. Could Saleh need Jimmy G?
ReplyDeleteMan... that's why it is worth waiting to get rid of JG.
DeleteLast day in the US before I head back to the Czech Republic… drinking a Pepsi with my dad watching a Niner game. It’s a perfect day.
ReplyDeleteNice
DeleteLiked how the 3Bs held up on the interior that drive
ReplyDeleteTrey seems a little amped. His passes look a bit like wild thing pitches.
ReplyDeleteNothing to comment on Lance.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful pass.
ReplyDeleteNice pass by Lance.
ReplyDeleteThe interior OL has looked good so far. The bad plays on the OL have all been from the OTs.
ReplyDeleteFantastic route by Ray Ray
ReplyDeleteNice pass by Sudfeld
ReplyDeleteMan, Womack is impressive.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a young K'Waun Williams.
DeleteI hope "Pick City" and "Trey to Gray" become a theme this season! :) Womack looks like another 5th round steal!!
ReplyDeleteSkule is rusty to stay the least and offense not doing much after the two scoring possessions.
Injury to Jackson is concerning...anyone hearing anything more on that?
The way he landed with that much weight, and his arm extended looked like a shoulder dislocation to me.
DeleteThat's my guess, a shoulder dislocation, or perhaps a separation. Hopefully it's not a bad one, because that kid looks like he has tremendous talent, but either way I didn't expect to see him playing much for at least the first half of the season, because of the 49ers tremendous DL depth, and as long as he's healthy to reinforce this DL for the second half of the season if they need him, it's all good! He's sure looks like he's yet another very promising young player.
DeletePurdy looks like he is going to fit right in.
ReplyDeleteLooks Purdy good.. Couldn't resist :p
DeleteGriese has done a good job up to this point.
DeleteSeems to of, the QB play was good for a first preseason game.
DeleteWow! Look, I learned a long time ago not to make too much out of any preseason game, especially the first one, but my goodness that was a well played football game by the 49ers. Three fantastic defensive takeaways, and only one tough luck turnover (Ray-Ray McCloud). All Three 49ers QB looked good in their own right. We didn't see Elijah Mitchell (but we know he's the clear #1 RB), but the rest of their stable of RB's look like legitimate NFL players. They appear to have tremendous speed at WR, and a potential star in the making at one of their few position battles this preseason- Nickle CB (Samuel Womack III)!
ReplyDeleteAgain, it's ONE preseason game, but you can color me tickled pink after this one! I couldn't be more impressed with the QUALITY OF DEPTH, and how well coached they looked for the first preseason game as well! 5 STARS!
