49ers In-Actives:
* RB Elijah Mitchell * LB Azeez Al-Shaair * LB Dre Greenlaw * DL Maurice Hurst * OL Colton McKivitz
Sounds as if Kittle is out for this game and Williams will likely play. Can Eric Saubert step up and fill some of that void? I think he ca...
Warner needs to be on top of his game today.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see the 49ers put this game out of reach early so they rest their starters.
ReplyDeleteThat sure would be nice. I'm not counting on it happening though!
DeleteI'm curious to see if this defense looks noticeably different with Azeez, because I think he's suddenly become one of the 49ers most valuable defensive players.
ReplyDeleteNiners are 6-0 this season when Jimmy does not turn the ball over.
ReplyDeleteLook out for the 1-robber, Jimmy!
Well, here we go special teams.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, this team. FFS
ReplyDeleteJust pathetic. Constantly self sabotaging.
ReplyDeleteOpposing teams would be foolish to kick off into the niners end zone. Special teams screws up again.
ReplyDeleteGreat defense
ReplyDeleteThat was a huge GL stand. Warner and Tartt ran those routes better than the receivers.
DeleteSaved Hastings butt
ReplyDeleteDefense came to play today.
ReplyDeleteJennings has to have that one. Attacking middle of the field early.
ReplyDeleteRough start. Thanks you D for the save.
ReplyDeleteThose 3 points is still a product of the turnover - field position.
ReplyDeleteYep. Still, better 3 than 7. 49ers now need to forget what's happened and start again. No more mistakes.
DeleteYes no more mistakes
DeleteDon't field the kick off, just let it go into the endzone.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Kyle kind of needs to take the game out of special teams hands.
DeleteGood grief, get him out of there.
ReplyDeleteKittle. Confirmed good.
ReplyDeleteGood play by Jimmy just to get that ball out of there. There was heavy pressure there.
ReplyDeleteTrue... but he also should have recognized the pressure would be coming presnap.
DeleteAre the 49ers really going to play down to the Falcons' level?
ReplyDeleteCome on Niners, turn it up a notch!
okay offense settle down run the ball control the game.
ReplyDeleteThere we go! We can break Matt Ryan today.
ReplyDeleteArden Key looks like a keeper. He's much more versatile than I thought!
Trick plays blah.................
ReplyDeleteJuice!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteStarting to get in a groove now.
ReplyDeleteI like the way Jimmy has been moving laterally a bit on some of those throws.
DeleteAgreed cubus. Doing a nice job of moving the pocket.
DeleteMuch improved this year moving in the pocket. Still can't run but we don't need him too. Very effective with his qb sneak too. Wonder where he learned that?
DeleteEvery ST play makes me nervous :(
ReplyDeleteOur special teams need work in all aspects.
ReplyDeletePenalties extend two drives for the Falcons.
ReplyDeleteWarner is having a really good game so far
ReplyDeleteKeep giving penalties to keep Falcons drives alive, keep Falcons in the game. Simple math.
ReplyDeleteFalcons aren't doing anything to be in this game. 49ers again doing all the work for the opponent.
Good to see Deebo get involved that drive. So good in space.
ReplyDeleteNot surprising to see them split Pitts out wide on Thomas.
ReplyDeleteThomas is right there, in perfect position on both of those Ryan passes, but he just can't quite clamp onto that football. I like Ambrey's physicality and skill set a lot, but he needs to get a little better at taking the ball away, and he needs to get out of the habit of being so grabby-grabby! There are ways to grab a little bit without being so obvious about it, so he needs to work that out, but I really like his potential.
DeleteWould have liked to see the 49ers stop the clock for another try at points before the half.
ReplyDeleteI was just getting ready to type that, Scooter, after yelling at Kyle thru my TV screen, lol.
DeleteKyle has a habit of just letting the clock expire, rather than being aggressive at the end of the first half, and I just don't understand it.
They have all three time outs left, it's 3rd and long deep in the Falcons territory, and Kyle just lets them off the hook rather than trying to get a turnover, block a punt, or even a shanked punt would give them a chance there.
Just maddening!
DeleteOur special teams suck!
ReplyDeleteBosa!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWilson!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBosa throws the RT off like a rag doll, and the swallows Ryan up while knocking the ball loose. Amazing strength!
ReplyDeleteGreat way to start the half. Pressure getting home, turnover forced, big plays through the Falcons middle.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive drive
ReplyDeleteNice
ReplyDeleteThis has been a nice clock killing drive.
ReplyDeleteRolling now. Ran all over them that drive. And JG remains ultra efficient today. Been excellent.
ReplyDeleteHis best game this year. That said he’s had all day. He should do well.
DeleteJG has had much better protection and it shows.
ReplyDeleteAfter this series start pulling players. Thurs is right around the corner.
ReplyDeleteDepends on if the D holds or not. Can't pull players only 10 or 11 up.
DeleteYep, time to start pulling starters! Great hold on 4th down.
DeleteBosa, Deebo, Kittle, T Williams, JG, Warner, Ward take a seat.
DeleteWard has been mister reliable all season long!
ReplyDeleteJimmy Effing Ward !!!
ReplyDeleteJennings has dropped two catches today that he should have made.
ReplyDeleteI make it 3.
DeleteAnother Niners' ST play, another reason to hold one's breath ...
ReplyDeleteYep. Special teams and the secondary is why they can't pull the starters.
DeleteMood it scares the heck out of me.
DeleteGreat seeing the team closing out the game by running over the Falcons.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but if Deebo or Wilson get hurt, KS should be skewered.
DeleteCubus, don't blame Shanny. I don't trust Hasty either.
DeleteNice win at Levi, Titans up next.
ReplyDeleteTitans look in disarray.
DeleteDominating win. Nice performance from Jimmy G & O-Line and even better no major injuries!!
ReplyDeleteWould have loved to see the offense not go 3-N-OUT and help out the D. Oh well, can't have everything.
ST needs to get its act together. How many chances does Hightower get? Looked like every Atlanta drive started at the 40 yd line.
Tennessee game is going to be a classic....they lost a winnable game against Pittsburg today and will be raring to go at home. This game would be a good barometer of our team.
JEFF WILSON Jr is BACK!
ReplyDeletePerhaps today's biggest development is the fact that Jeff Wilson Jr just SERVED NOTICE to the NFL that his legs are back, and he's finally looking like the same guy who averaged well over 5.0 YPC when he was 100% healthy last season (112 YDS vs Patriots, 183 YDS vs the Cardinals), and that's a huge development for the 49ers as we head into late December, with a postseason birth on the horizon, and Elijah Mitchell still nursing himself back to health!
This is really starting to look like a team that could be a threat, although that's still a steep hill to climb as a wildcard team.
