Niners releasing Herbert per Schefter.

ReplyDeleteDoes Herbert's release mean CMC is returning to practice, or one of the other RB's?
I think it's one of the other backs. Pretty sure CMC's tightness is preventative maintenance. I don't buy into those that are saying Bosa and CMC are holding out.
DeleteAccording to reports, this came from Mike (hack) Florio. This is the same wannabe that said a high football executive told him that the 49ers were going to draft Justin Fields. Looks like he is still trying to recover his credibility.
DeleteMaybe its Guerendo.
DeleteI see Carver Willis is rotating in at left guard with the starters. I'd Like to see him get 10-15 reps in against the Chargers.
ReplyDeleteNiners signed DL Victor Dimukeje and OL Nick Zakelj to one-year deals.
ReplyDeleteI am concerned about Bosa's availability in the early season. He has yet to practice which more than likely means that he will show considerable rust in his first few games. In essence it will be like preseason games for him. Another concern is that after his left and right knee injuries, how much can the 49ers count on him to be the same player of his early years. I certainly hope that Bosa can get his groove back. But at this point, it's a wait and see.

GEEP,
ReplyDeleteSorry, I don't have Instagram. But, my concern re Bosa is not so much his exercise routine, but his lack of football contact. He will likely need to work himself into the physical side of football in the early part of the season - and that honestly gives me pause.
The Seahawks now claim that Levis stadium is now Seattle south. Them are fighting words...
ReplyDeleteI'd be more concerned if the 49ers weren't proactive in trying to get their stars across the finish line.
ReplyDeleteCarver Willis fell in love with football because of his sister, who dreamt her brother would be drafted by the 49ers.
