  1. If Rourke keeps improving, I could see the Niners trading Jones and getting some value in return. Stribling’s performance speaks for itself, and Halton, Duggar, and Worth are definite keepers in my opinion. I’m not concerned about Collins—he’ll be fine. Colby is becoming a disappointment, and Martin might be trade bait—maybe for the Titans.

  4. Carver Willis allowed 3 pressures in his preseason debut but was excellent in run blocking. He's coming for that LG job!

The TV news is showing video's of flooding in Indiana, I hope you and
    yours are safe?
    ALSO
I'd add CB Ephesians Prysock to the Stock Up list for key PBU
and Kramer Jr.to the Stock Down list for erratic snaps.

  10. I am a little concerned about Al Collins. If he does not show good growth this season, his future could become cloudy. Hopefully, he shows good progress in 2026, or he can become the next Javon Kinlaw.

    1. I always like to wait how a player responds the following week after a poor performance to see what they're made of.

Collins had a poor outing against the Titans. His shoulder may be affecting his play?
I agree on waiting to see how he responds next week.

yea, Collins got pushed around by Titans R-OT JC Latham, giving RB Pollard room to run, including scoring a TD.

    1. GEEP,
Yes, that was not very encouraging. He has to show some growth this season, imho. Collins was drafted to be a run plugger up front with the bonus of also occasionally making the QB uncomfortable.
Halton showed me that in one game. It will be interesting to see how this plays out this season.

  12. While there were definitely things to be encouraged about with a lot of the young players, for mine there were really only two standouts that get the "stock up" tick of approval from me - Stribling and Rourke. They were outstanding, going against the Titans 1s.

    1. Whoops, forgot Halton. He also lands on my stock up list. Excellent game from him.

    2. What did you think of Rourke's footwork?

    3. Didn't focus on it. But after the first drive he was decisive and on time for the most part, and made good decisions.

    4. Processing needs to speed up. He was late on throws with the anticipation lagging.

    5. I thought he was pretty good with timing for his first game action.

    6. Took more hits than he needed to.

  13. With Jones and Hobbs both down with injuries the 49ers brought in:

    Bryce Hall
    Corey Mayfield
    Troy Pride

  14. The 49ers, Bills and Bears have checked in on the availability of Buccaneers DT Vita Vea, per Garafolo.

  15. Walter Nolen — who would have had the best pressure rate among all DTs had he qualified last year — racked up three pressures and a sack on 13 pass-rush snaps yesterday.

  16. Nolan was my draft crush. But, Mykel Williams can become a great player once he gets past his injury.

  17. I am feeling better about this teams future after last nights game. If this team has any chance to make it to the SB it will rely 100% on health. They need to be at least in the top 10 teams as far as games missed goes.

  18. Carver Willis running with the #1's.
