ReplyDeleteWith all their players signed, can the 49ers afford Vea? One reporter said earlier today that the Bucs have no intention on moving away from Vita.
But, would they be willing to at the very least listen to an offer?
Contract talks between the Buccaneers and Vita Vea have completely disintegrated, per Schefter on the Pat McAfee Show.
DeleteVea is now completely dug in on leaving Tampa Bay, and a trade now appears likely over the next month.
What do think it would take for 49ers bring in Vita? And can they afford him?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't give up more than a 2027 3rd round pick for him. I think they can "afford" any player with the void year strategy and cap rising every year. The question becomes are they going to change that rule in the not-so-distant future.
