Highest true pass rush win rate among 2026 NFL Draft edge rushers:
ReplyDelete1. WMU Nadame Tucker (40.8%)
2. CMU Michael Heldman (40.4%)
3. TTU David Bailey (38.6%)
4. NM Keyshawn James-Newby (37.5%)
5. MIA Akheem Mesidor (37.5%)
6. UM Derrick Moore (36.0%)
7. OU R Mason Thomas (35.1%)
8. TEN Joshua Josephs (33.8%)
9. UCF Malachi Lawrence (34.7%)
10. UW Zach Durfee (32.1%)
It's not a great list of center options this year.
ReplyDeleteI'd look into signing players like Fabian Moreau, projected $1.5M and Jalen Nailor, projected $4.75M.
ReplyDeleteOT pressure rate allowed removing screens, throws under 2.0 seconds, DL stunts. Filtering for "normal" pass pro snaps:
ReplyDelete2. Spencer Fano 1.7%
3. Max Iheanachor 2.0%
5. Caleb Lomu 2.3%
10. Monroe Freeling 2.6%
24. Blake Miller 4.0%
30. Francis Mauigoa 4.3%
37. Kadyn Proctor 4.7%
The Seahawks are hiring 49ers tight ends coach Brian Fleury as their OC, per Pelissero.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a team get pilfered from as consistently as Shanahan's.
Not since the Walsh/Seifert years and it would have been worse back then if Eddie D wasn't paying the 49ers assistants so much
DeleteMore value should be placed on route running and ball skills (hands and tracking) than speed. The All-Pros are typically elite in those areas. The best Wide Receivers in the NFL generally run 40 times in the 4.5+range.
ReplyDeleteMakai Lemon (5’11 190) USC
ReplyDelete+ Sharp route runner
+ Toughness
+ Run after the catch ability
+ Return ability
+ 3.13 yards per route ran in 2025
+ Just a 2.5% drop rate in 2025
+ Willing blocker
+ Finding soft spots in zone coverage
+ Over 1,100 receiving yards with 11 touchdowns in 205
- Limited touchdown production prior to the 2025 season (3 total in his first two seasons at USC)
- Projects to play primarily in the slot at the next level
- Catch radius
Draft projection: Top 15
Clemson WR Antonio Williams (5-11, 190) isn’t a sleeper, but little forgotten

BREAKING: The 49ers are expected to hire veteran defensive backs coach Jerry Gray, per CBS.
ReplyDeleteLogan would be interesting if you were planning on sitting him for a year a lot of good traits to work with... Though admittedly I haven't seen him much on film.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Jones has the best physical tools to work with.
DeleteMy main problem with the center options in the draft is that there's a pretty clear correlation between good NFL centers and being pretty dominant college players that get drafted high. A lot of the top centres of the past 10-15 years were top 60 picks. And not many really good ones that come from day 3 or later - with those that have panned out usually being elite athletes for the position like Kelce and Brewer, that fell due to size concerns. Even Brendel, while more decent than really good, falls into the elite athlete for the position category.
I don't really see any top 60 guys in this draft class. Jones at least interests me from an athletic point of view.
Brendel's job is mental torture. He's so much better than "decent".
ReplyDeleteYou really do believe everything the team tells you.
DeleteIf he's that good, why is he paid so low? When all the guys they want to keep get pay raises when performance surpasses contract, how come he's still paid this way? Almost seems like they're paying him how they value him...
I believe Feliciano.
DeleteThe only linebacker prospects since 2015 with a run defense grade > 88.0, pass breakup rate > 0.75%, and a coverage grade > 88.0 in at least one college season. Sorted by relative athletic score..

The only P4 wide receiver prospects since 2019 with a passer rating when targeted > 140.00 and a missed tackle rate > 1/3 in at least one college season. Indiana WR Omar Cooper Jr. projects as a borderline 'Tier 1' level WR prospect..

π Omar Cooper Jr, Indiana
π Malik Nabers, LSU
Missouri DT Chris McClellan 6’4 323-In his last two seasons at Missouri he finished with 38 pressures, 8 sacks and 46 stops. Great value in Round 3/4.
