Joel Bitonio, 34 year old left guard. FA from the Browns
ReplyDeleteHe ranked third among all guards with a 96.4% pass block win rate last season, and his run block win rate of 72.3% was above average.
Next to a 38 year old LT, okay, why not.
Bonilla was the source
DeleteI wouldn't be mad at it, so long as he isn'texpensive. Really good in his day, and still capable.
DeleteClemson WR Antonio Williams met with the 49ers at the NFL Combine.
ReplyDeleteI can see that. Seems like a Shanahan type of WR. One of the better route runners in the class and reliable hands.
DeleteThe only nose tackle prospects since 2015 with a pressure rate > 12.0% in at least one college season and an arm length > 33 5/8"..
ReplyDelete🔘 Dexter Lawrence, Clemson
🔘 Darrell Jackson Jr, Florida State
🔘 Deone Walker, Kentucky
🔘 Keeanu Benton, Wisconsin
Lee Hunter and Darrell Jackson Jr have been my two favourite DT options to date. I think both guys immediately improve the run D and also bring the strength to push the pocket and create pressures against the pass
DeleteThe 49ers are reportedly considering drafting WR Chris Bell in the first round, per Tony Pauline.🚨
ReplyDeleteMan I really hope not.
DeleteI am with you Scooter.
DeleteIt really is wild that OSU didn't win the Natty this year. Such a great collection of elite talent, especially on defense.
ReplyDeleteIs Reuben Bains still a top 10 pick?
ReplyDeleteI'm hearing that his measureables are not NFL standards.
But re Bains, I remind myself that production is the only true standard on the playing field not the combine.
ReplyDeleteThe way he wins isn't predicated on arm length but on his strength and quickness at his size. So if teams dock him due to arm length it will just mean some team will get a bargain later.
DeleteI love his ability to run the arc without getting pushed off his line due to his lower body strength.
Zierlein made an interesting point that Bain plays like Tyson in that he punches the arms of the defender to get inside.
DeleteUCF EDGE Malachi Lawrence Last Season:

4.44 - Colton Hood
4.45 - Davison Igbinosun, Ephesians Prysock
Dillon Thieneman is so darn good.
ReplyDeletePlus, he's like a football professor on the field.
DeleteExactly. Renowned for the work he puts in in the film room, which translates to great instincts and ability to read the play on the field. Add elite athleticism and you've got a guy that seems a safe bet to be really good in the NFL.
DeleteBefore the combine it was widely regarded that safety and LB class was really strong this year. After the combine, I think pundits will be pushing these guys up because it's not just good on film - these guys are great athletes.
ReplyDeleteJalon Kilgore, 4.4s 40. Thought he'd run better than what scouting reports were suggesting. Tight hips, so probably will struggle a bit if asked to cover in man a lot, but good size, speed and explosiveness. Interesting player.
ReplyDeleteOfficial SAF 40s:
ReplyDelete4.27 - Lorenzo Styles Jr
4.32 - Robert Spears-Jennings
4.33 - Treydan Stukes
4.35 - Dillon Thieneman

4.41 - Bud Clark, Dalton Johnson
4.47 - Kamari Ramsey
4.48 - Xavier Nwankpa
4.50 - Michael Taaffe
4.52 - AJ Haulcy, Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
Instinctive 4.54 beats fast 4.39 who doesn't tackle or who doesn't see the field.
ReplyDeleteWho is that regarding?
DeleteNo one in particular.
Delete267-pound Sam Roush, who had a 38.5" vert and 10'6" broad jump. Explosive kid who grew up playing rugby. Physical blocker.
ReplyDeleteEli Stowers putting up a 135” broad and 45+” vert at 6’5 and 239 pounds is a new TE record.

🔘 Fred Warner, BYU
🔘 Jacob Rodriguez, Texas Tech
Still have Keyshaun Elliott as your LB#4?
DeleteYes, he's just got a rare natural flow to the football. He's my favorite purebred box LB.
DeleteWhich LBs aren't you taking over him?
DeleteSam Roush with the 9.99 RAS.👀
ReplyDeleteArizona Cardinals are high on Utah OT Spencer Fano per Charlie Campbell.
