4.47

Since 2010, just 36 Offensive Linemen recorded a 4.47 short shuttle or better at the NFL Combine:

31 were drafted ✅ Those 31 went on to start 80.1% of their NFL games The List is a cheat code ✍️📜

  1. If the 49ers use pick #11 for an OT will they start him at LG for a year or 2 before they replace Williams or McKivitz?

    1. I'd imagine they'd have them compete for RT with the loser as the swing OT.

    1. Not that I'm aware of but no Short Shuttle for Membou or Campbell. Banks 4.66 but the top 5:

Caleb Rogers, OG, Texas Tech 4.49
      Logan Brown, OT, Kansas 4.51
      Drew Kendall, C, BC 4.51
      Eli Cox, C, 4.58
      Jared Wilson, C, Georgia 4.51

  3. Isaac Guerendo, @49ers RB - The rookie averaged 5 yards per carry in 2024 - 420 yards on 84 carries - 1 of only 7 qualifying RBs in the NFL to average 5+ yards per carry on the season. (Per Pro Football Reference)

  4. McMillan posted the highest AIQ score — an advanced cognitive tool used in the pre-draft process — of any WR in this year’s class.

    1. Yeah, as I've said before, my brain realises McMillan is going to be really good, but I just have a bias against that style of WR.

I'm pretty sure I'd get over it if he was playing for the 49ers though, lol!

    2. If TMac is still on the board at #11, I would grab him immediately. With Deebo out and Aiyuk somewhat questionable McMillan would be a day one starter. Sure, the 49ers need Dline and Oline help, but I don't see a high draft OL or DL pick that can dominate immediately as can McMillan.

    3. Kawakami says their high on Owens from the practice squad.

    4. I can venture that McMillan would start on day one over Owens. The 49ers need players that can produce on day one in 2025. Perhaps Owens can develop into a good backup and even starter one day.

    5. As I've said in previous years when UDFAs get brought up, you don't plan around them being good until they prove it. Anything you get out of them is a bonus.

No matter how high they are on Owens it should have no bearing on draft and FA plans.

  5. Does Ty Robinson DT Nebraska remind anyone else of Justin Smith

  6. Missouri Offensive Tackle Armand Membou Last Season:

    🐯 411 Pass Block Snaps
    🐯 Zero Sacks Allowed
    🐯 Zero QB Hits Allowed
    🐯 87.5 Run Block Grade

    1. Unfortunately I now think it's highly unlikely he isn't a top 10 pick.

  7. 49ers Cap:
    SF=$38,211,773 (After Deebo trade)
By extending both Kittle & Warner they can add another $23.5M
F/A Room: Allows for one big splash or two smaller splashes and a few affordable but good players on one or two year deals.

    1. Does the $38,211 cap take into account CB Ward, DT Hargrave and OT Banks leaving?

    2. Hargrave's $2.1M base plus per game roster bonus & workout bonus, so like $3M tops, they saved $17.8M when he redid his deal last year before the end of the year.

  8. A couple of surprises. Lance Zierlein has Mason Graham dropping on the 49ers lap. And Shadur Sanders dropping all the way down to 29 being drafted by Cleveland. I'd like to see John Lynch make a deal with Cleveland to get their 29 draft pick. Not sure what that would entail, but trader John could come up with something that could satisfy them.

    1. Graham is probably the safest pick on the board.

    2. And more than likely a day one starter. Another player, I like is WR Savion Williams who can be Deebo 2.0.

      Delete
    3. Yea, I don't want another Deebo clone. I want a precise route runner with speed like Golden or Noel.

    4. Deebo was very successful (until recently) in providing a different offensive weapon that kept DCords busy devising game plans to stop him. I'd fine with a player like Savion that closely emulate's that style. Aiyuk, Pearsall and Cowing are the WR route players. Another one would be redundant imho. Also, it wouldn't hurt to have a 6'4" WR for to see over a tall Dline.

  9. Razor,
My only question about Graham is can he take on NFL double teams and hold his ground. They didn't have a single DT who could do that last year and it showed in their run D.
