18 mill more, how much in total? From what I understand Aiyuk's new contract will also free up cap room for this season. That should give them room for an in season trade and or clear up a large chunk for BPs new contract.

DeleteNot sure how much this article helps, as it points out different
totals from different sources....But claims the 9ers total cap space after June 01 is $22 Million, including Armsteads $18 Mil

DeleteHere is a you tube video by David Lombardi. It appears to deal in depth with the 9ers salary cap space.

Now, it's time to take care of their #1 WR, Brandon Aiyuk.

One of the most common ways an offense can isolate the Ni in a 3x1 concept is to throw a Slot Fade. Hardest route for the Ni to defend and now we have a wr that can run that route in Ricky Pearsall.
ReplyDeleteOften injured David Bakhtiari, is still available. Backup...
ReplyDeleteHave to say, hearing guys like Krueg talk about how the team looked in OTAs has me excited.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Niner Nation the 4 most underappreciated 49ers are
ReplyDelete#1 J. Jennings
#2 M Wishnowsky
#3 D. Lenoir
#4 Juice
I think that list is pretty accurate
Depends on who the author means is under appreciating them, really.
DeleteI think most 49er fans over appreciate those players, except maybe Wish.
Scooter,
DeleteI reread the article to see if the author specifies who these players are unappreciated by. He really doesn't but since he has a list for every team I think he means they are underappreciated on a national level.
Yeah from a national perspective those guys, aside from probably Juice, are under appreciated.
DeleteI'd add Banks to the list too. And, weirdly, Purdy.
Coach,
ReplyDeleteI would put Juice at 2. But, not by the fans. It is with the team or to be more direct, Shanahan.
Juice is a talented receiver having played TE in college. He's also shown his catching ability with the 49ers when called on. I'd really like to see Shanahan use this part of his on 2024.
part of his "game"
