49ers Inactives:
QB Nate Sudfeld
RB Jeff Wilson
WR Mohamed Sanu
OL Aaron Banks
DL Maurice Hurst
LB Marcell Harris
CB Deommodore Lenoir
Sounds as if Kittle is out for this game and Williams will likely play. Can Eric Saubert step up and fill some of that void? I think he ca...
C'mon Bengals!
ReplyDeleteWoo! Well done Bengals.
DeleteYup Bengals,
DeleteLet's handle our business today boys. Go Niners!
ReplyDeleteGO NINERS!
ReplyDeleteGah, missed a big opportunity there.
ReplyDeleteThe Shark and the Eraser combine for the clutch INT to stop the Rams scoring. Huge play.
ReplyDeleteOf concern though the Rams moved the ball very easily that drive. Especially when Street and Givens were at DT.
Precarious first quarter but so far so good.
ReplyDeleteSo far the rams are playing better ball. It’s early yet but SF’s offense needs to get into rhythm. Can’t rely on the D all the time.
ReplyDelete3rd and long continues to be a problem for the 49ers D. Have to get off the field on those downs.
ReplyDeleteDidn't like the idea of starting Thomas over TB27. One PI, and now Stafford-Kupp will target him over and over.
ReplyDeleteDon't like the idea of starting average rookies over average vets in play-offs.
Nice Samuel...
ReplyDeleteTwo awesome plays on that drive. The pass down the left sideline to Aiyuk was a peach of a throw by JG, and could easily have been a TD. Then that screen to Deebo - what a player!
ReplyDeleteOnce Deebo shook off the first tackle, I was pretty confident of him taking it to the house
ReplyDeleteThe rush just isn't strong enough so far. Maybe as the game wears on.
ReplyDeleteThey're tired now. Rams have had a great plan - get the ball out quick to open the game, have long drives to tire the 49ers D out. Now seeing the benefits as the D is gassed.
Delete49ers need to find a way to get some quick stops in the 2nd half. Rams are moving the ball too easily.
Great opportunity here, Scooter. Score at the end of the half and start the 2nd half with the ball.

ReplyDeleteOkay JG work you're two-minute magic...
ReplyDeleteGotta make some halftime adjustments on D -- Stafford is going after Thomas. Niners have been very lucky Rams' receivers have dropped passes.
ReplyDeleteWay to get your main playmaker killed, JG.
ReplyDeleteBut isn't that slant a staple of the offense?
DeleteCan't lead him right into the hit, and have to get that ball lower.
DeleteGot outplayed and Niners lead at half...Nice JG getting them into field goal position.
ReplyDeleteJimmy played a good half. No major mistakes!
ReplyDeleteFelt like the Rams were the better team that half, but 49ers up by 3. That's a great result. Now need to start making some quick stops on D and offense needs to keep rolling like they did that second quarter.
ReplyDelete49ers get the ball to start the second half too. If they can get a TD to open the half, will put a lot of pressure on the Rams.
DeleteThanks to the D line depth, the low ToP may not tire the Niners' D that much, but would like to see a 7-8 minute scoring drive to start the second half.
ReplyDeleteThat would be ideal.
DeleteBradshaw just said something I've believed for a long time. Jimmy G is more effective when they turn him loose and don't structure him as much. But that is not the KS way which is why he never would have selected Mahomes.
ReplyDeleteI wish they would use Juice more on passing plays. I think it could really surprise the Rams.
ReplyDeleteKyle's really riding Deebo today.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I was just asking myself where is Mitchell but he just ran the ball.
DeleteRams have controlled the Niners' run game pretty well. Defense will have to make some plays.
ReplyDeleteYep. And need to hit the opportunities that presents in the passing game.
DeleteWhich is currently being made problematic by some pretty ordinary pass protection.
DeleteLet's see if Demeco is going to make any adjustments.
ReplyDeleteWay to go D! Great back to back plays on 3rd then 4th and inches for the stop.
ReplyDeleteJust can't seem to open holes in the run game.
ReplyDeleteKittle!!!!
ReplyDeleteNot getting anything in the run game, but the pass game is PHYSICAL! Big 1st down conversions by Deebo and Jennings while carrying defenders on that drive. And nice play to Kittle for the TD.
ReplyDeleteStill can't defend trick plays.
ReplyDeleteNiners should have blitzed there. It was an obvious pass.
ReplyDeleteI mean, really, you know they are going to Kupp there. Why leave him 1-on-1?
ReplyDeleteHey guys, simple question: Are the 49ers simply incapable of taking a shot downfield?
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a HC so afraid to throw deep, it's no wonder they can't run the football this postseason.
Two bad plays by veteran safeties one after the other. No excuse.
ReplyDeleteGood they kept that to 3, but man, Tartt will never have an easier opportunity to be the hero. If the 49ers lose... Tartt will no doubt be replaying that one in his mind for awhile.
ReplyDeleteGO ROOT FOR THE HAWKS, COWBOYS, PACKERS, EVEN THE RAMS. YOU ARE NOT A FAN OF THIS TEAM -
ReplyDeleteSeriously dude, you've made a fool of yourself all season long. Stop already.
ReplyDeleteAnd Garoppolo is a JOKE, but that's on KYLE!
ReplyDeleteAwful time to have an awful drive.
ReplyDeleteDid 49ers fans really think they were winning a Super Bowl with, by far, the worst QB to qualify for the postseason? Give me a break!
ReplyDeleteThe 49ewrs DON'T deserve to win! Not with Garoppolo behind center, and that's a real shame because this is the 2nd Super Bowl they've given away, thanks to their QB, who can't complete a pass anywhere other than the middle of the field, within 25 yards of the LOS!
ReplyDeleteThe difference at QB, between the 49ers and Rams, is NIGHT & DAY!
ReplyDeleteHonestly mate, you are now worse than Seb ever was. Think about that. The 49ers are taking the NFCCG to the wire and you are hear b!tching about the team. That's the pathetic part. Not what the 49ers are doing.
DeleteI was just going to post the same thing. This guys is a liar as well promising not to show up, yet here he is.
DeleteI hope they make Jimmy and Kyle hitchhike back to the Bay Area!
ReplyDeleteANOTHER wasted season thanks to the 49ers SUB PAR QB!
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad I don't have to root for this weakling ever again after today!
ReplyDelete13 unanswered points.
ReplyDeleteTime for offense to step up.
No more free rides Jimmy! No more riding on your teammates coattails!
ReplyDeleteLet's see what you got!
Oh well, it was a good season
ReplyDeleteAh well. Sucks to lose that way, but great ride none the less. Well done for getting this far boys.
ReplyDeleteYeah. They did very well to get this far.
ReplyDeleteEnd of the Jimmy G era. Fittingly ends on an INT.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but I don't blame him. He had to do something there.
DeleteNiners lost in the trenches, despite the two sacks of Stafford.
DeleteWhat a FITTING way for Jimmy to end his career with the NINERS! He single handedly cost the 49ers another Super Bowl, IMO!
ReplyDeleteBut make no mistake .... part of this is on Kyle! We never saw the phenom, Trey Lance, take a single snap during the postseason! Why? Because his HC is a PUSSY!
That's TWO Super Bowls DOWN THE DRAIN, thanks to the WEAK LINK - Jimmy Garoppolo!
DeleteThanks for NOTHING Pretty Boy Garoppolo! But make no mistake, part of this is on Kyle, who seems bound and determined to waste as many potential Super Bowl wins as he [possibly can! Why? Because he doesn't believe in himself!
ReplyDeleteHe coaches scared, like I've never seen before, which is why he also can't ever hold onto a lead!
I'm sending a picture of TREY LANCE out to all of my hundreds of contacts, with the caption: The FUTURE is NOW!
ReplyDeleteYou can make a lot of noise with a Jimmy Garoppolo, you just can’t win it all with a Jimmy Garoppolo!
ReplyDeleteCan we finally stop pretending that we can win it all with an average QB? Can we officially end that stupid charade?
ReplyDeleteBut let's not let Kyle off the hook either. He's the one who doesn't even have faith in his own ability to win with a young QB, so he kept marching a clearly injured QB out there, game after game.
ReplyDeleteHe had to know he couldn't keep winning these games with SMOKE & MIRRORS, didn't he?
