  1. 49ers News: George Kittle says team's record against Seattle is unacceptable....

The 9ers have been on a roll, but if they're not ready to kick a$$ and take names, Seattle will be only too willing to
end it! I don't care how bad Seattle has been playing, as Kittle says, "Rivalry games mean a lot. Something that stood out to me is that they’ve won 16 of the last 19, which is not acceptable!" The 49ers’ recent struggles against the Seahawks are one of many reasons Seattle should NOT be taken lightly. Even with things seemingly off the rails for Russ and company this year, it’s still going to be a hostile environment!

IMO, the one area the 9ers must improve is special teams.
Letting your opponent score a TD on a kick off return is unacceptable and has to stop!

    1. Yup, need improvement. I think the 3-5 start with the stinker game woke this team up, I think they will not take any game lightly.

  2. I like our chances up there in Hawk land. It looks to be good football weather cool and dry (no rain). Even though no rain there usually is a high moisture content up there. Gotta love the Pacific Northwest. The team travels really good and has a nice run game. If the Niners are to win keep the ball out of Wilson's hand and defend the deep pass when Wilson is scrambling around.

    1. They've got a league low 7 in giveaways. Let's see if Norman can make it 8!

  4. In order to conduct this evaluation, two leading platforms were used to compile the data. First, we looked at the Football Outsiders’ DVOA rankings, which compares each unit’s production in each phase against the league average. Second, we used a system well known in the Special Teams community, the Gosselin Rankings. For years, Rick Gosselin, an extremely knowledgeable sports writer, has compiled a cumulative ranking of over 25 categories that influence special teams play. The value or rank in each category is added up and much like golf, the lowest number wins.

With that in mind, the Bottom-Line Up Front (BLUF) reveals the following:

    Top 5 Special Teams Units:

    Kansas City Chiefs(1st)
    Buffalo Bills
    Baltimore Ravens
    San Francisco 49ers
    Cleveland Browns

Gameday Week 10: Seahawks vs 49ers

Sounds as if Kittle is out for this game and Williams will likely play. Can Eric Saubert step up and fill some of that void? I think he ca...
