NFL insider Josina Anderson on Monday reported San Francisco had preliminary talks with free agent WR Dede Westbrook.
Will be good if Uncle Sherm signs the one-year contract.

Word out of Patriots camp is Mac Jones looks exceptional.
ReplyDeleteNot surprising. It was pretty much expected that he would be capable of starting this year. But 3 to 5 years down the road, how will Jones compare with Lance and Fields?
DeleteWho knows? I don't mean this as a comparison. I'm very happy the team selected Lance over Jones. But I liked Jones as a prospect and will be interested to see how he develops.
DeleteNot everyone thought Jones would be capable of starting immediately. Plenty of people are/ were of the belief he is nothing more than a product of the players and system around him.
I actually hope Jones starts this year. The result will be another "fuzzy" data point on the learning curve (i.e regarding the points you made about Jones). "Fuzzy" because when people are involved it's generally not absolute.
