Let the battles began!
ReplyDeleteKittle pulling off two lifts of 665 lbs. is a clear sign his Achilles is nearly healed and he’s gearing up for the season opener.
ReplyDeleteI think putting Kittle, Mykel or Bosa on a 15-hour flight is too risky but I'm not a doctor.
DeleteHe may not play but it looks like he will be ready.
DeleteRazor,
DeleteI agree
7 days until full camp opening
ReplyDeleteYup, that's when it gets real.
ReplyDeleteThe 49ers announced they have signed P Jack Bouwmeester to a three-year deal.
ReplyDeleteRay Guy's longest punt hang time was 6 seconds. Bouwmeester punt hang times are a little over 5 seconds.
ReplyDeleteThis could turn out to be a very good signing.
Competition at punter should be really good.
DeleteCompetition is good but another reason they signed Bouwmeester is that he is a right footed punter. They signed FA punter Waitman in the off season who is left footed. They need a right footed punter so the punt returners can practice catching right footed punts. Teams almost never sign a punter or kicker to their practice squads. I am predicting that if Bouwmeester doesn't make the final 53 they will try to sign him to the PS so the returners can continue to practice catching kicks from a right footed punter.
DeleteThat makes sense, Coach. Bouwmeester only played one season at Texas. But he finished with an average of a smidge over 44%. I'll be paying close attention to him in TC and preseason games.
ReplyDelete44.5 punting average.
