The 2nd Round pick of the San Francisco 49ers has yet to sign. Just two 2nd Rounders have, 33 and 34 respectively AND with full guarantees. First time this has ever happened as far as I can remember. I'm anxious to see him out there but he's one of 30 yet to sign so its not anything to worry about. I think he has a chance to be the most impactful rookie from this class.

* Collins' ability to stop the run should help solidify the defensive front 4. He can line up at various positions on the D-line, making him a valuable rotational piece in the 9ers' scheme.
ReplyDelete* Primarily known for his ability to stop the run, Collins also has the potential to develop into a productive pass rusher and generate pressure on the QB.
* Collins is still unsigned and learning the 9ers' defensive scheme. He'll need time to adjust, especially given his recent calf injury.
Leo Nomellini days from the San Francisco 49ers season opener ❤️💛
ReplyDeleteFrom Wikipedia: He played both offensive and defensive tackle, winning All-Pro honors at both positions -- he played both offensie and defensive tackle his first three years!! He was selected to the All-NFL team six times: two years on offense and four years on defense. He was selected as the defensive tackle on the NFL 50th Anniversary All Time Team
DeleteNomellini was also a Pro Wrestler during football off seasons. This guy had to throw people around all year around.
DeleteLeo the Lion, was a real Bad-a$$.
DeMo arrested.
ReplyDeleteCB Deommodore Lenoir was reportedly arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department and was booked for resisting a peace officer, per @TMZ_Sports.🤦♂️
DeleteDeMo needs to choose his friends wisely.
ReplyDeleteLenoir was with a friend who tossed his car keys to Lenoir and when the cops asked him to hand them over he refused. Got released this morning.

"Everybody is sleeping on them. 'Purdy is not worth the money. McCaffrey is not gonna be healthy. Trent Williams won't be healthy. Aiyuk won't be healthy. What are Jennings and Pearsall gonna do? Who's going to run the ball if McCaffrey gets injured? Half their defense left'… Vegas might not be sleeping on them, but look across the landscape of shows like this."

ReplyDeleteThe Lenoir arrest, from what the news is reporting, does not sound like the police had "PROBABLE CAUSE" to make an arrest, as no
ReplyDeletecrime had been committed.
* "Los Angeles police said they saw multiple double-parked cars blocking traffic at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday. They said a suspect “appearing to conceal contraband” threw the keys to one of the cars to Lenoir, who refused to give them to officers.
Officers eventually recovered a gun and narcotics in one of the cars. Lenoir, 25, was arrested and booked on a charge of delaying and resisting a peace officer.
Unless it was the friends parked car the police recovered a gun and narcotics in, the police likely did not have probable cause of a crime, or "Exigent circumstances," to search the car without a warrant.
And it does NOT SAY Lenoir was asked, or refused, to move the car.
If he did, then the police would have probable cause of a crime.
* (Asking Leoir to move a double-parked car is likely a lawful order, especially if it's obstructing traffic or creating a hazard.)
Other than giving the owner of the car a ticket for being double parked, the police had no reason to believe there was any crime
committed and I suspect a good lawyer can get the arrest thrown out of court?
