  1. Nice schedule. I'm projecting a 10 -11 win season if our key players stay on the field. I have to admit that I'll miss not going up the Cowboys and Green Bay, but its all good.

  5. The 49ers have 31 more days rest in their 2025 schedule than they did in 2024.👀

  6. Razor,
This is interesting. How did you arrive at 31 days of rest?

  7. Report: 49ers, D.J. Humphries did not finalize contract terms.

The agents for offensive tackle D.J. Humphries said in late April that their client had agreed to terms on a contract with the 49ers, but that was never followed by a formal announcement of his signing and it doesn't look like one is coming.
Matt Maiocco of NBCSportsBayArea.com reports that, despite the announcement, Humphries and the 49ers did not finalize any terms of a deal. He adds that no agreement appears to be imminent.

    1. I'm going to go out on a limb and say razor is right, he won't make the team 🤣

  8. I believe that whether the 49ers have a winning record or not Depends on two main issues. #1 Of course health. #2 the development of the defensive players drafted this year. Realistically I don't see any more than 2 of the draftees developing into solid starters. It is too much to ask Saleh to completely revamp the 49ers D in one draft. I think it is more feasible that he can turn this D around in his second year. I just hope if the D ends in the bottom half of the league fans and the media don't start calling for his job.

    1. Coach, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the operative wording in what your saying is "solid" starters. I think I agree with what you're saying if that's the case - it's a lot to ask for a rookie class to not only provide 4-5 starters but to also have them all be decent/ good starters.

I expect we'll have around 4-5 of the rookies starting, but yeah, I also expect there will be growing pains, especially early in the season.

  9. The last time the 49ers played a last place schedule, they were a Jaquiski Tartt dropped INT from reaching the Super Bowl. This team has a better QB and a seasoned DC. I think this team comes out with chips on their shoulders. I like our chances!

    1. I like our draft. I like our DC and I believe that by the 26 season Saleh will have the 25 draft class hitting on all cylinders as well as 1 or 2 of the 26 class playing well. My prediction for this season is 8-9 or 9-8 with the majority of their wins coming in the 2nd half

    2. Yeah, 8-9/ 9-8 sounds about right to me as well. I'd be pretty content with that as a season so long as they are showing signs of getting better throughout the season (in particular the young guys). Not happy, but content enough.

I think for them to do better than that they really need all their key players to stay healthy (and play at an elite level), get solid snap counts and play out of 8-10 of the guys they've drafted the past two years, plus have a couple of those young guys elevate to not just solid players but be impact players.

    3. 10-7 is my floor for this team as currently constructed.

    4. Razor I agree with you 10-7 is the floor.

    5. Floor in terms of what you'd be ok/ content with, or floor on what you think the team will be this year?

    6. Will be.

Source confirms 49ers and Brock Purdy are finalizing a five-year contract worth $265 million.

If Nick Bosa can get a modicum of consistent pressure from the opposite side he could end up having another Defensive Player of the Year aw...
