The Three Amigos

 

The San Francisco 49ers are 20-6 when the Three Amigos are on the field together. If they stay healthy you can forget about a "rebuild" or expecting some kind of a sub-par season. This holy trinity can take us deep into the playoffs and no one can convince me otherwise.

 Fred Warner and the 49ers have reached an agreement on a three-year, $63 million contract extension that includes over $56 million in GTD money that makes him the highest-paid linebacker in the league, per Adam Schefter.

 The 49ers are releasing former 2nd round pick DE Drake Jackson with an injury designation following a failed physical, per Adam Schefter. I hate to say I told you so but I did several months ago.

Trading Up As A GM

 Trading up doesn't seem to be a good idea. More often than not you're wasting your ammo on a player that probably isn't much better than the one if you had stayed put. I think the adage of the more darts you have the better when it comes to the draft.
