  1. Belichick takes the 49ers leftovers at kicker.

  2. "I watched a lot of their tape. A lot of the stuff we did at Alabama we stole from the 49ers because their run game package is pretty phenomenal." Latu

  3. CB Darrell Luter Jr.

Nice pick. He's got talent and ball skills. 2 years experience playing press zone.

    1. I don't know anything about any of these guys. He was a three sport player, football, basketball and track so he should be strong, agile and fast.

    2. He's about the best you can do this late at the position. Best thing is he's likely to get a year to learn while contributing on special teams right away.

  4. Not to be outdone by the Philidelphia Bulldogs, the 49ers go to Georgia and select, Robert Beal Jr., DE.

    1. Haha, yes, as I commented (anonymously) below. 84" wingspan.

Rams are not to be outdone either 🤣

    2. Just shy of 35" arms and Kocurek gets his pet project.

    3. Isn't 247 lbs a little lite for the DL.

    4. I think they like their Leo at around 255, which is what Dee Ford weighed.

    5. from Brugler's Beast:
"BACKGROUND: Robert “RJ” Beal Jr. grew up in Cordele (South Georgia) and primarily played basketball in his younger days. (He was also an avid bowler). But after he
continued to foul out, he made the switch to football in the sixth grade. Beal, who was home schooled, started out playing offensive tackle, wide receiver and tight
end, but he preferred the defensive side of the ball because of the physicality. He attended Norcross High School, where he recorded 19 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss
and 3.5 sacks as a sophomore. As a junior, Beal finished with 35 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks and two forced fumbles. For his senior season, he transferred
to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla in May 2016. However, he wanted to return closer to home and transferred to Peachtree Ridge High School in Gwinnett County
midway through his senior season. Beal lettered in track at Norcross and won regional titles with personal bests in the shot put (50 feet 9 inches) and discus (146-3).
A four-star recruit, Beal was the No. 8 weakside defensive end in the 2017 recruiting class and the No. 11 recruit in Georgia. With over three dozen scholarship offers,
he had his choice of almost every program in the country, including Alabama, Florida State, Clemson, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Stanford, Texas and USC. He initially
committed to Notre Dame during his junior season in November 2015, but he decommitted a few months later and took visits to Florida State, North Carolina, South
Carolina and Tennessee. Ultimately, Beal described himself as a “hometown kid’ and committed to Georgia. He had planned to graduate high school early for early
enrollment, but his multiple transfers during his senior year delayed his admissions process. Beal signed with the Bulldogs (part of the same signing class as Andrew
Thomas, D’Andre Swift and Eric Stokes) but wasn’t ruled academically eligible until August 2017. Frustrated with his lack of playing time, he entered the transfer
portal after the 2019 season, but he decided to stay in Athens. Beal took advantage of the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA because of the pandemic and
returned for a sixth season at Georgia in 2022. He accepted his invitation to the 2023 East-West Shrine Bowl."

    1. Yea, if it wasn't for his size, Winters would have gone a round or two earlier.

    2. Fits the mold the 49ers like at LB. Fast, quick to trigger and aggressive. Just like Greenlaw and Al-Shaair.

      Delete
    3. I'd say between signing Wilks and this draft class, the defense has gotten faster and more aggressive.

  9. Interesting - double dipping at TE. Brayden Willis at 247.

  11. And finish the draft with LB Jalen Graham, a guy I had in my mock. Double dipping again.

I think Bell takes Jennings spot next year.

    2. I, personally, like Jennings and think he deserves more opportunities, especially on 3rd downs......... hope they can get some projects for DT/T/C-G on Monday....
