  5. George Gumbs Jr. (6’4 245) Florida

    + Athleticism includes running a 4.66 40-yard dash with a 41” vertical jump
+ Work ethic to go from a walk-on wide receiver at Northern Illinois to a starting edge for Florida
    + Converting speed-to-power
    + Relentless effort
    + Comfortable dropping in coverage
+ Disciplined player with just 2 career penalties
+ Has improved as a run defender and had an impressive 8.3% stop rate in 2025

    - Limited career production
    - Needs to expand his pass rush arsenal
    - Inconsistent hand usage
    - Meniscus surgery forced him to miss some time at the end of the 2025 season
    - 12.5% win rate on true pass sets in 2025

    Draft projection: Day 3

  6. Gumbs sounds like an under the radar athletic player.
His measureables and receiver experience could potentially make him a large WR and even a TE, if a team feels he can offer help in that area.

  7. Reuben Bain was cited for careless driving after a March 2024 crash in Miami that left a passenger in a coma. That passenger, a 22-year-old student, died three months later. NFL teams are aware and investigating, per sources.

  10. IDL Technique Splits:

    - Damonic Williams, Big Citrus, Brandon Cleveland, Dontay Coreleone step above the others in NT snaps
    - Landon Robinson will rotate out to a 2i/3 in the NFL, more snaps at 0/1/2 in college
    - Christen Miller, Peter Woods, Kayden McDonald w/ versatility but low snaps
    - Clay Patterson has exceptional versatility
    - Kaleb Proctor/Aaron Graves/Jayden Loving keep an eye on

  11. Recent 49ers meeting with RB Cash Jones. 3rd down specialist has some slot WR upside. Jones turned heads at Pro Day by running 4.4s with all 32 NFL teams in attendance πŸ‘€

  13. Recent PFF interview with Jon Ledyard on the best edge rushers, link below.
His view is that no one "elite," but of the rest his number one is Malachi Lawrence.

    1. Ledyard is one of my favorite scouts, particularly when it comes to the LBs/Edge players.

    2. Lawrence has been trending up over the last few weeks. Originally, I saw him as an early to mid 2nd rd pick. He may have put himself in the 24-32 1st rd range, now.

    3. Razor,
Does the recent news about Reuben Bain hurt his high 2st rd draft range? As I recall, Jalen Carter had a similar accident and he didn't lose any high draft potential.

    5. Regarding Bain, the Eagles and the Chiefs will be more than happy to draft him in Round 1. As you point out, it didn't hurt Carter who was breaking the law by racing that resulted in death. From everything I've heard, Bain's was a legitimate accident.

  14. Only 10 short days until draftmas. Unless of course we all wait with bated breath for #27 and at the last second they trade back with Ariz making us all wait another 24 hours.

  15. If the Steelers can't come to a contract agreement with A. Rodgers before the draft are they going to be looking to trade for a starting QB? Is there any chance they would be willing to trade their 1st round pick and Mason Rudolph for Mac Jones and Aiyuk?
