  2. We owe our freedoms to those great heroes who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

I agree, Razor. Football is right around the corner, and I'm getting ready for another great season that can only be made perfect if topped off with a Super Bowl victory. How great would it be for the 49ers to win the SB on our country's 250 year anniversary.

  3. I’m heading off on another road trip to Alaska for about two months. Prudhoe Bay, the Arctic Circle, Atigun Pass, Coldfoot, and the Dalton Highway are just a few of the places we plan to visit. No motels nor restaurants are allowed on trip. Later...

  5. Living out in the Central Valley in CA. I was able to take my young son to a 49ers TC at UOP in Stockton. I remember watching an unknown 3rd rd rookie WR working out, that looked darn good. Turned out it was Terrell Owens, who is now in the HOF.

  6. The 49ers and Mac Jones agreed to a revised contract for this season, adding a $300,000 roster bonus

Mac is now due $3.55M in 2026, with another $2.25M available through incentives.

  7. The 49ers converted $3.02M of Jake Brendel’s 2026 compensation into a signing bonus, clearing $2.265M of cap space.

  8. 49ers have the NFL's most 2026 salary-cap space by an even wider margin after opening up about $2.3 million in the Jake Brendel restructure.

    1. 49ers: $72 million
    2. Titans: $54 million
    3. Commanders: $44 million
    4. Chargers: $43 million
    5. Patriots $36 million

With the 49ers over the '27 cap by about $35M they keep accumulating enough to rollover.

  9. Is Joey Bosa still a financially feasible target?

    1. I think he is. You figure they'd like to roll over $50M minimum. Leaves them plenty to sign their class and add one or two F/A's. They haven't even opened Bosa's deal yet and they likely will once they get a good look at him in camp.

  10. At this point in time I think I would rather see them sign Clowney. I think he has more left in the tank than Joey Bosa. Also Clowney seems to stay healthy better than Bosa. Bosa has missed 41 games due to injury over the last 5 seasons while Clowney has missed 22 games due to injury over the same time period. Clowney would also come much cheaper. He played for 3.5 mill last year and Bosa made 12.5 mill

  11. Coach,
I'd be ok with Clowney, especially at a low cost. But, as you mentioned, his injuries and somewhat disappointing career since entering the league honestly gives me pause. But, I could say the same thing about Joey Bosa. The thing with JB, is that when he's healthy he is a very good player. When healthy, Clowney has mostly been just a little above average.

  12. Does anyone have the pressure stats for JB vs JC?
