Razor My assessment of Kittl's receiving production this year will, IMO, depend on TE Luke Ferrell and his successful integration into KS system. * Farrell's addition to the 9ers as a TE provides needed blocking support for Kittle, potentially freeing him up for more receiving opportunities and contributing to a more balanced offense. * I expect Farrell's size and blocking ability to allow the 49ers to run the ball more effectively and double-team DE's, while also providing Kittle with more chances to run routes and catch passes.
“He’s a freak. He was running a route and he got nine and a half yards in two strides. It was insane. We watched it ten times in the TE room. We were like 'how is he doing this?'… At the bare minimum he should make the practice squad. He’s a freak.”
Per David Lombardi, Bobby Burton, who is a popular voice/writer on everything football in Texas. Also describes Neyor as an "athletic freak." Burton has followed Neyor since high school. Burton has an interesting and honest take on Neyor, and why he believes Neyor went undrafted. On DL's YouTube channel.

Agreed. If Farrell can do what Saubert was unable to do, replace Woerner, our run game is golden.

ReplyDeleteNice to see Alex Smith at the SFGiants game yesterday. One of the most classy players to ever wear the Red&Gold.
ReplyDeleteAlex Smith's lack of ego and team first mentality allowed himself to give Kaepernick what he didn't have to be successful, process.
DeleteI thought you were adament sometime back the Keap's name was not to be mentioned here? Oh well, things can always change.
ReplyDeleteThe 2011 season is in my top 10 favorite 49ers seasons. Thanks in large part to AS.
DeleteI think Smith would make a great QB's coach.
DeleteAgree. Smith would make a very good QB coach. Harbaugh and Reid brought the best out of him, for sure.
